As a vegetarian I typically only have a few things to choose from when it comes to eating out, but Salem Kitchen had sooo many options to choose from that I could take home and bake! The young woman helping me at the counter was an absolute GEM- I wish I had gotten her name (she wears glasses and has a Studio Ghibli tattoo like me!) I let her know I was a vegetarian and she showed me an entire section of their menu that was meat free! There are so many sides and desserts as well that looked absolutely delicious. I’m currently trying the baked spaghetti and it tastes like home! Thank y’all so much for your service! I’ll be back very soon!“

“The baked goods are house made and very good. They use Counter Culture coffee and I’m not a huge fan of fruity coffees. This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of community I thought they would have. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little uncertain and uncomfortable, esp if you’re by yourself. I recommend this place to try, but it’s no where I would go twice.“

“Everything was well organized and labeled, plus they had a nice variety of breads and baked goods. They also had reasonably priced Ezekiel bread and keto bread. The lady who served us was a little grumpy, but it was the end of the day so maybe she was tired.

The place is so clean I believe they can possibly past a USA. Marine Corps inspection since I am a old school ex marine from the early 70s. They need a larger restaurant for inquisitive minds while starting the morning off great and unwinding after the work or play day is coming to end. I just love their efforts to be nice and kind and professional to all guest, who knows made one day the may put on their menu those old school grease brown pepper bag of oat meal cookies that many upon many of boys and girls enjoyed in the early years of 1960s 50s 40s and beyond. “Camino has seriously upped their vegan game, or maybe I’ve just been paying closer attention lately! They’ve got a bunch of yummy morning baked goodies, breads, cakes, and desserts, and I just stumbled upon their vegan chicken salad! You can grab just the salad in a container or get it as a pre-made sandwich. I went with the sandwich, and it was delicious! Everything is consistently tasty (maybe a tad oily at times), but overall, I’m super happy with what they’re creating. Definitely give it a try!“

“We went in today to grab some cake squares at the Dewey’s on Reynolda Rd. Hunter was working and he was so incredible! He got us everything we needed and more, and was so kind while doing it! “Best homemade Hummingbird cake I have ever ate. You can tell it is has everything fresh in it. The fruit to the fresh pecans and spices oh and that homemade cream cheese buttercream icing is out of this world good. This is my place for good homemade fresh cakes from now on. Oh and the price is so good. 40.00 for a three layer. Everyone else charges around 60 to 70 dollars. The best customer service. If you come in they are right there to serve you and so friendly. The most friendly place I have been too.“

“This location in the hospital, Ardmore Tower, is great. Their drinks are good quality, always interesting options (lavender miel is yummy).

The baked goods are fresh and always a treat. Great service, the line goes fast & employees are helpful.

“Ordered via GrubHub to get my cake fix during our stay-at-home order. We had the golden chocolate, strawberry layer, and pineapple coconut. Gah it was all so delicious. I didn’t expect much of the strawberry layer, but it might have been my favorite. Such great flavor.“

The woman who greeted us gave us direction of how to walk through the two floors and where the baked goods, kitchen, and gift shop were located without me having to ask any questions.
