“Came in, no wait. Everybody seemed nice. The owner is very efficient and wants to provide a good experience. I sat in my car and took the first bite of the sweet potato brownie w/ pecan and it was like a hug. Ohhhhh...,.. It was warm, sweet and tasted beautiful. It was what I needed at that moment. “My first time trying Crumbl and I can honestly say I enjoyed the cookies. Only downfall is the cookies were a little too soft in the middle as if they weren't cooked thoroughly. I do feel as if the toppings were a little scarce. I will be a return customer in the future. 😊“

“The baked goods are house made and very good. They use Counter Culture coffee and I’m not a huge fan of fruity coffees. This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of community I thought they would have. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little uncertain and uncomfortable, esp if you’re by yourself. I recommend this place to try, but it’s no where I would go twice.“

“Everything was well organized and labeled, plus they had a nice variety of breads and baked goods. They also had reasonably priced Ezekiel bread and keto bread. The lady who served us was a little grumpy, but it was the end of the day so maybe she was tired.

And I loved that it didn’t leave an oily film in the roof of my mouth like some other brands of packaged sponge cakes - it seemed genuinely fresh instead of full of preservatives - Had intended to take a picture of the half eaten cake but I got carried away“

As a vegetarian I typically only have a few things to choose from when it comes to eating out, but Salem Kitchen had sooo many options to choose from that I could take home and bake! The young woman helping me at the counter was an absolute GEM- I wish I had gotten her name (she wears glasses and has a Studio Ghibli tattoo like me!) I let her know I was a vegetarian and she showed me an entire section of their menu that was meat free! There are so many sides and desserts as well that looked absolutely delicious. “Great day in the morning! Delicious 🤤 My husband picked up a few items this morning for us to enjoy outdoors nearby with our son on this first day of summer. I’m dieting and a bit of a picky eater. “I go to this establishment to get coffee and to play chess on my tablet, I'll be honest I have never eaten the food, I also go to this establishment to enjoy the eye candy, that's street talk for looking at the beautiful older females. The place is so clean I believe they can possibly past a USA. Marine Corps inspection since I am a old school ex marine from the early 70s. They need a larger restaurant for inquisitive minds while starting the morning off great and unwinding after the work or play day is coming to end. I just love their efforts to be nice and kind and professional to all guest, who knows made one day the may put on their menu those old school grease brown pepper bag of oat meal cookies that many upon many of boys and girls enjoyed in the early years of 1960s 50s 40s and beyond. “We went in today to grab some cake squares at the Dewey’s on Reynolda Rd. Hunter was working and he was so incredible! He got us everything we needed and more, and was so kind while doing it! He is a rockstar to have on staff and I’ll definitely be coming back to see him! I can’t wait to enjoy my cake squares and cookies!“

“Best homemade Hummingbird cake I have ever ate. You can tell it is has everything fresh in it. The fruit to the fresh pecans and spices oh and that homemade cream cheese buttercream icing is out of this world good. This is my place for good homemade fresh cakes from now on. Oh and the price is so good. 40.00 for a three layer. Everyone else charges around 60 to 70 dollars. The best customer service. If you come in they are right there to serve you and so friendly. The most friendly place I have been too.“

“If you're delivering sugar or anything heavy here it's probably best to come in through the front entrance and come through the employee parking to get to the dock.. you know how it is backing these autos up hill when heavy.. it's a little easier on your clutch if come through parking lot to setup your back for dock.. in and out less than 30 minutes.“

My favorite place to get chai, wish I knew how they made it! They make the donuts fresh to-go which is cool, not a huge donut fan but they were pretty good. “These cupcakes are so good. Moist rich and flavorful. I ordered the strawberry shortcake, wedding cake, birthday cake, and yellow with chocolate frosting. They all were good. “I had such a pleasant experience for my first time as an adult here. We were immediately greeted, told about the history of the house and its original functionality and how it was evolved over time. The woman who greeted us gave us direction of how to walk through the two floors and where the baked goods, kitchen, and gift shop were located without me having to ask any questions. Additionally, she gave me one of the sweetest, most unique compliments I’ve ever received. “The pink lemonade is to die for. And the sugar cake I could eat in one sitting or day if I didn't watch myself. The other cakes are good as are the cookies and ice cream it's hard here. Been going there 47 years and it's a treat every time!!!“
