“First time going to this place today. There was a line out the door. Staff was so friendly despite them being busy. But the food. Over the food. The almond paste croissant that I had was nothing short of exquisite period so so so good.“

“My first time trying Crumbl and I can honestly say I enjoyed the cookies. Only downfall is the cookies were a little too soft in the middle as if they weren't cooked thoroughly. I do feel as if the toppings were a little scarce. I will be a return customer in the future. 😊“

I had heard the hype about this spot from an online influencer. I thought how good could it be? Listen! Run don’t walk and get there early! The cakes were large portioned, warm, sweet, unique and just excellent. I have thought about driving all the way back for more since I visited! They also ship! I’m obsessed!! This churro pound cake literally had me slumped in my car seat cause it was so good! Only open Thur-Sat so plan accordingly!“

“holy smokes! this place is GOOD. let me be completely honest- I just moved to the area and was not thrilled I no longer had a coffee shop within 5 minutes from my house. I don’t really like sweets much, but I saw they served coffee, so I just stopped in to test it out. I was wrong and this is literally a coffee shop and bakery (anddd ice cream shop!). I can’t tell you how happy I was! We also got cupcakes and when I tell you this is the ONLY cupcake I’ve ever enjoyed in my life, that is the 100% truth. This icing is amazing and not too sweet. The coffee was pretty good also. They have plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor, with rocking chairs too. I’ll take more pictures next time I go. I absolutely love this place!!“

“The baked goods are house made and very good. They use Counter Culture coffee and I’m not a huge fan of fruity coffees. This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of community I thought they would have. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little uncertain and uncomfortable, esp if you’re by yourself. I recommend this place to try, but it’s no where I would go twice.“

“This location is sometimes, hit or miss. The very first couple of times we visited here the food was cold and the employee was distracted on their phone. However, both times we have returned (after a long break) it’s been very nice. Hot food & attentive employees. The Carmel Apple is my personal favorite. Overall glad they decided to come to Winston.“

“I've been coming to Flower's Bakery for years. The bread is fresh and much less expensive from the grocery. Today, I brought a loaf of Nature's Own SF bread , mini donuts, and a box of snack cakes ($1.50 each). It was less than $5, or about what I would spend for a bread loaf at the grocery. They often have holiday themed items that are hard to find. I saw fruit cake, pumpkin spice donuts, and popcorn balls, to name a few.“

As a vegetarian I typically only have a few things to choose from when it comes to eating out, but Salem Kitchen had sooo many options to choose from that I could take home and bake! The young woman helping me at the counter was an absolute GEM- I wish I had gotten her name (she wears glasses and has a Studio Ghibli tattoo like me!) I let her know I was a vegetarian and she showed me an entire section of their menu that was meat free! There are so many sides and desserts as well that looked absolutely delicious. “I saw this business at the NC STATE Fair on yesterday and stopped by to ask a question, I walked away with the BEST white wine cake, that I EVERRRRRRR had! The cake was moist and the flavor was flavoring! Scott was very nice and very informative. This business is going places just watch! And did I mention the FLAVOR? If I could give 100 stars I would. Very pleased.“

“I visited Camino which was a short walk away from my hotel and perfect for a cup of coffee. This place was clean, with a ton of character and efficient staff. It was also crowded with what I assume are loyal customers. Overall, Camino is a refreshing departure from big chain coffee shops.“

“Service was excellent! Autumn spice mile was perfect and not too sweet! Matcha was made well. Paradise peach iced tea was refreshing. We had the tarts de Santiago, mixed berry danish, almond horn, and the death by chocolate brownie and all were exceptionally well made. The tarte and brownie were gf and both were amazing! We had someone in a wheelchair and easily got her in and there was room inside as well while being easy to navigate.“

“First time there yesterday I got a hot Capo Italian sub. I call it a grinder from where I come from. It was excellent. I bought a bunch of meatballs to take home. Included them in some of my sauce tonight.
The meatballs were excellent!
Next time I go there I’m doubling my order getting two grinders and 16 Meatballs. Highly recommend this place.“

“Coffee shop in the historic area of Winston-Salem that also serves small bites, wine and beer. It is open, spacious and bright with lots of comfortable seating. It has a downstairs lounge and an outdoor patio, extending the space to include many options for gathering with friends.“

“I had such a pleasant experience for my first time as an adult here. We were immediately greeted, told about the history of the house and its original functionality and how it was evolved over time. The woman who greeted us gave us direction of how to walk through the two floors and where the baked goods, kitchen, and gift shop were located without me having to ask any questions. Additionally, she gave me one of the sweetest, most unique compliments I’ve ever received. I was so touched by her words that I forgot to ask her name but thank you so much- your words meant more to me than you know. :)“

“This location in the hospital, Ardmore Tower, is great. Their drinks are good quality, always interesting options (lavender miel is yummy).

The baked goods are fresh and always a treat. Great service, the line goes fast & employees are helpful.

“If you're delivering sugar or anything heavy here it's probably best to come in through the front entrance and come through the employee parking to get to the dock.. you know how it is backing these autos up hill when heavy.. it's a little easier on your clutch if come through parking lot to setup your back for dock.. in and out less than 30 minutes.“

“Best homemade Hummingbird cake I have ever ate. You can tell it is has everything fresh in it. The fruit to the fresh pecans and spices oh and that homemade cream cheese buttercream icing is out of this world good. This is my place for good homemade fresh cakes from now on. Oh and the price is so good. 40.00 for a three layer. Everyone else charges around 60 to 70 dollars. The best customer service. If you come in they are right there to serve you and so friendly. The most friendly place I have been too.“

“Delicious and fresh made donuts, lattes, and more! There was a line to get in, but it was worth the wait. We went in the fall and their autumn inspired menu was full of my favorite flavors. Pictured is a maple bourbon latte and autumn glaze donut. Both were made to perfect. There were so many delicious options, we ended up buying half a dozen. They stayed tasting fresh even a few days later!“
