You'll find all the basics here, fresh eggs, fluffy pancakes, delectable sausage, great coffee and a few surprises, too. “Stopped by here for lunch and we enjoyed it. The food was made fresh and very good. The place was clean with an inspection rating of 99.7 posted on the wall. Staff was friendly and we definitely plan to go back. Only negative thing is not even related to the store but in leaving parking lot. Traffic there is very busy. I highly recommend if you're in the area and like ham. Expect to pay around $15 per person for a meal set.“
“Best steak and cheese on a hoagie roll I've eaten in years! The server was amazing! She even let me use her phone to pull up the menu. My hubby had the hot pastrami, which was also delicious. The reason why I gave it 4, not 5, stars was a mixture of the 2 Louder than necessary men and the price overall. Fries (although served in a cute little basket) and a sandwich for 2 people shouldn't cost $50.“

“Very nice environment. I opted for the chili because it was quick and simple. The chili was very watery and more like soup. I asked to have it removed from my bill and the server was polite and addressed it immediately. I then ordered a burger to go and it as fair. Nothing special. I have eaten here before and the food and service was much better.“
“We've been to wake forest several times over the years, but only recently did we go to this place. Cafeteria style selling Ala Carte. The place was clean and bright. Lots of locals there with us. The food was pretty good, but anytime you cook for masses, the seasoning or lack of it won't suit everybody's taste. Not that it wasn't seasoned because it was. it just wasn't my favorite. I would recommend forks to anyone just looking for a sitdown blue plate lunch or dinner without a lot of frills.“
“Let me start off by saying this food is something so special! Everything I have tried is beyond delicious (even things I don’t usually enjoy). Today I ordered to go through Grubhub and when I arrived the owner let me know it was a mistake on Grubhub’s part, they contacted them months ago to shut down their store. She offered me a meal AND dessert for free even though the situation wasn’t her fault at all. Grubhub refunded my money and I got to eat one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. “My son found this place, and we loved it. Yiu walk in and the delicious barneque is smell of meat and sauce take over your sences. It's quaint and has a small outdoor area where you can enjoy your meal. We had the chicken Caesar (wayyyy to much grated cheese) salad, BBQ chicken sandwich and fries, half rack ribs, a couple of sodas, and a beer. I would have given the food 5 stars, but the salad had so much cheese it was not edible. We did take the chicken out and onto a separate plate and finished it and left the rest. “The food and drinks are really good, especially love to get the Shrimp Po Boys. It is hard to find a good one this side of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and this one is good. Also offering Buffalo version of the Po Boy. Have had some issues with service at times. You have to wait for attention and drinks frequently ran out while waiting. But the food is good and the atmosphere is good pub/sports bar with more than 2 TVs.“

“Amazing food. The Ruben is almost unmatched. Great home town atmosphere and family run shop. Can be a bit busy at times but absolutely worth the wait. Seating available inside as well as out back for some fresh air. No better sandwich shop around.“
