“Went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Has a great set up outside for smokers and drinking especially during the winter and college game days with a nice fire pit to keep you warm! Inside play some pool, darts, or even small talk with the locals and enjoy the time while drinking!!! Shout out to Papa Chuck and Tiff!!!“

“Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.“

“Picture it. Omaha. 2004. A young couple enjoying a late-evening dinner, on a beautiful patio, at a restaurant in Dundee. She's enjoying the mac n cheese. He, the smoked chicken lasagna. Together, they enjoy three bottles of riesling, one chocolate dessert, and (because why not), a couple of cigars they purchased at a nearby shop. As you can guess, that "he", was ME. Twenty-one years later, I heard about "Ooh De Lally" opening in the same location. I perused the online menu, and was thrilled to see that they serve our favorite dishes from when it was the last place (Mark's Mac n Cheese, and the Smoked Chicken Lasagna). As you can imagine, it was a no-brainer to set up a surprise date night, with that same beautiful lady (now my wife of 19 years), on that same beautiful patio. Her Mark's Mac n Cheese, and my Smoked Chicken Lasagna were even more delicious then we remember. We each enjoyed the same house cocktail, "Tiki Me Away" (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Banana, Orgeat, Lime, Dark Rum Float & Firewater Bitters). For dessert, the love of my life enjoyed the Key Lime Tart, and I jammed on the whiskey bread pudding. Now here's where the restaurant hit the third part of the trifecta (food, atmosphere, & service). Our server, Kristin (aka, The Bob Ross of Sauce) took, what was already a wonderful evening, to a whole new level, with her charisma & personality. And it wasn't just Kristin, the entire staff took care of us and made us feel so welcome. This place is a gem. Patronize it often. Tell your friends about it. Put the word out on social media. Keep this place open. Read about it's mission, and you'll see it's good for the community, and it's good for humanity.“

“Can’t say enough good things about The Boiler Room! Such a beautiful, intimate environment with the friendliest servers and unbelievably talented staff. The presentation of each plate is like a piece of art. The chef and team’s food is some of the most mouthwatering, flavorful food you will ever eat!! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Omaha. “My husband and I have been super impressed by the Dell since it reopened last year—amazing craft cocktails, solid beer options, and very elevated pub food that you can tell is made with high quality ingredients. We were last there on NYE for an early dinner and the service and food were top notch. Honestly would choose this over other $100 places, so good! They went above and beyond for us. Hope they can continue to build back up demand—as it is such an incredible atmosphere since the remodel!“

“Awesome Experience! At first I wasn’t impressed. My server seemed to be really off, she fumbled her words, had a hard time answering my questions, (maybe she was nervous) etc. I ordered a martini but she brought me something terrible in a rocks glass! We ordered, the salad bar was amazing!!! Fresh and had several choices. Our meal was another story, our waitress got our order wrong. I wanted chicken parmigiana and I got a sandwich?! She did get it corrected but I had to wait longer. At the end of our meal the manager trish came over to offer apologies. She also brought me the martini I originally asked for that she said she made herself. Awesome!! It was delicious!! She was friendly, chatted with us for a moment and deliver our bill. She didn’t even charge me for the drink! We noticed her guiding our server who was then having issues at another table. I would say we won’t be back but Trish really helped turned our opinion around! She’s definitely a manager who cares! We will give it another try and hopefully just get a more proficient server!“

“they were at the late night at the zoo and barely an hour into the event they started crossing off items on the menu due to not being prepared for the size of crowd. The guy at the window seemed like he could careless to be there. I also understand that its a larger event but having to wait 20+ mins for simple loaded fries is ridiculous. After 25 mins i ended up getting a refund. Im not usually one to leave bad reviews, but felt this one was needed.“

“Seriously a must stop! Amazing coffee (and we are super picky on what we think is a good coffee shop) plus the atmosphere was perfect. I could easily sit down and stay awhile and the flowers/gifts were a fabulous selection. The mini bouquets may have been my favorite! I can’t wait to be back!“

“A couple weeks ago we brought are kids in, it was me and my mom with my five kids and three nephews. We for sure thought it would be a circus. But the staff were so nice and helpful. They let each kid order, gave them their own coloring sheet and it just felt as if they went above and beyond for us. Every time we’ve ever gone for dinner it’s always a great experience but this time was just above all the rest!! Also the chicken bacon ranch taco was absolutely delicious!! They also were super helpful with my mom who is gluten free making sure she was able to enjoy lunch with the rest of us!! Shoot out to employee Tim who is always so friendly and just down to earth!“

“Food: not as flavorful as I had hoped. I wish the waffles were crispier. The hot honey chicken tasted like it was just plain breaded chicken with hot honey on top. Goat cheese grits were good. Mac & Cheese waffles was just a waffle with Mac on it which also lacked flavor. Service: the restaurant was about half full and it took an hour to get 5 meals. I had to ask for the server at least twice as she was not checking on us and no where to be seen. Ambiance: Very cute interior. I loved the southern charm. I had high hopes.“

“First of all, I was a little irritated because the server wouldn’t give us her name, but when she explained why, I understood completely and so we called her Gina, with her permission. And Gina was stellar! She was attentive without being intrusive, made sure we had what we needed, had a great sense of humor, and made the experience really fun. She even managed to score us bread and olive oil even though the kitchen was closed! And she knew her wine. It was an all around positive experience and I look forward to going back regularly. They did forget the cheese sauce in my order, but ended up redoing our entire order for free another day! Zero complaints; food was fresh and all employees are more than pleasant to deal with!“

“Had an excellent time at habitat restaurant.It was very empty when I arrived (I chose an earlier dinner time) but filled up a bit as we left.We had very dedicated service since the restaurant was empty.I appreciated the non alcoholic drink options though my only complaint was every drink had lime juice. The server told me she could swap it out for something else after I had ordered two and mentioned it to her. So it seems like the drinks are suggestions that you can modify.They use agave straws which help the environment since they aren't plastic, but don't dissolve on you like the paper ones can.The crispy Brussel sprouts were delicious. I'd still like it a bit crisper but the portion size was very large, enough to serve 4 people. I would recommend the addition of the onions and bacon.The black garlic parpadelle came with shrimp though it doesn't say it on the menu. I was full from Brussel sprouts and my two drinks (I don't eat that much)The salmon was perfectly cooked.The steak was more of a 4 star item. It didn't stand out as much but was still fine.The only issue that we all agreed on was some of the dishes can be very heavy handed with salt.Parking is available on the street. There is a parking garage across the way and the server told me you can park for free on the first floor since they are working on something. It is not validated parking. For more details and to make sure it's still available I would call the restaurant to confirm this.“
