“I had a 2 piece dark fried chicken with an original biscuit and mashed potatoes. The chicken and mashed potatoes were good. I thought the biscuit was yummy! I liked the little bit of sweet it had. I would definitely eat there again, I want to try the fried shrimp.“

We completely understood why the rule exists, but I decided to speak with the manager. After a short, friendly conversation, they showed us incredible kindness and compassion by allowing my nephew to play.

That simple act meant more than they probably realize. In the past, we’ve encountered so many places that were unwilling to listen or show any understanding of our situation. To be met with empathy instead of judgment felt like a warm embrace.

Thank you to the manager and the entire team for treating us with such kindness and respect. Great food is easy to find, but genuine compassion is much harder to come by. We’ll absolutely be back, and I’ll gladly recommend this location to others.“
