“Tried this place for lunch the other day and honestly the food was pretty darn good. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and everything came out fresh and hot. The chicken was juicy, the bread was soft, and the seasoning had a nice flavor without being too much. The fries were crispy and tasted like they were made fresh. Service was friendly and the staff checked on us a couple times. Not the fanciest spot around, but the food hit the spot and the prices seemed fair. I'd definetly come back again when I'm in the area.“

“Ordered food and drinks off the app. We had to take a detour and ended up picking up the other late. The drinks were obviously not prepared when we got there but at the time of ordering so the ice had melted and made the drink carrier flimsy from the melted ice. It was a mess and we had watered down drinks. Suggestion: don't prepare the drinks until we are there to pick the order up.“

“I’ve been to Dave’s hot chicken a few times, and I’ve loved it each visit. The restaurant is usually always busy, and you can expect to wait 20+ minutes for your food any given day. However, I recommend this restaurant still due to the great food they have there. The chicken is cooked perfectly with the best blend of spices and sauce. Come hungry, because you will get your money’s worth of food.“

“Needed an order for 15 people on short notice after another company backed out on the order. No surprise, Chic Fil A responded immediately and got the order in on short notice. Good seeing a professionally run business take care of the customer!“

“When I was walking in an employee was just leaving and another employee who was taking out the trash told her bye and to have a great day.

Upon entering, everyone was in a great mood, all smiles and very helpful.

When I left I asked if I could leave them a tip, she said it's not their policy but if I could, fill out a survey.

Curtis was so kind and generous and even had our timid 18 month old girl smiling and talking to him. “It's a nice place to eat, when you are looking for a treat meal. It's a plate of fried-beige everything, but tasty every once in a while.
The service was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The staff was all busy keeping it clean, and offering any assistance they could provide.“

“Ordered online for the first time today. Makes the drive through so much easier because you don't have to wait to get up to the speaker/menu to figure out what you want and take your time customizing your food. If more people did it this way there would be no long line or wait at the drive thru.“

“I came here for lunch today. There was quite a bit to choose from. There was chicken, chicken fingers, chicken gizzards, chicken livers, potatoes, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, biscuits and even apple pies. I got a three piece chicken finger box with a side of taters wedges and a biscuit. The portions given we’re all worth the value spent. Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. I wouldn’t change a thing. The Bird shack is located inside the speedy mart convenience store gas station. When you walk in hook a sharp right and go all the way to the back and you can’t miss it. Or just follow the yummy scent of chicken. They had other miscellaneous items available like pizza burritos and leftover breakfast items. The staff was really friendly and helpful and they were very prompt to give me excellent customer service. The area was clean and fresh and clutter free. Everyone was talking and seemed very happy to be working there. I’ll definitely be returning.“

“This is by far my favorite Popeyes location and the only one near us that we regularly visit.

The manager does an outstanding job and is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. They’re always friendly, willing to help with orders, and take the time to chat with customers, which creates a welcoming atmosphere that is hard to find these days.

Even when the drive thru line was wrapped around the building, the team kept things moving and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was engaged, positive, and interacted well with both customers and each other. You can tell there is good leadership and a strong team culture here.

The food was fresh, the service was great, and the overall atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience. It’s refreshing to visit a restaurant where the employees genuinely seem to enjoy what they do.

As a bonus, this may be the only drive-thru where I leave with both my complete order and a better mood than when I arrived. The manager deserves a raise or at least an extra biscuit. If every fast food restaurant operated like this one, half the complaints on Google would disappear overnight.

“It’s a gas station so clutch your pearls! But that chicken is actually so good it’s criminal. And there 4.99 meal (picture attached) is good value! Give them in the back a raise! This is also one of the better locations in the Omaha area!“
