“Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.“

“Picture it. Omaha. 2004. A young couple enjoying a late-evening dinner, on a beautiful patio, at a restaurant in Dundee. She's enjoying the mac n cheese. He, the smoked chicken lasagna. Together, they enjoy three bottles of riesling, one chocolate dessert, and (because why not), a couple of cigars they purchased at a nearby shop. As you can guess, that "he", was ME. Twenty-one years later, I heard about "Ooh De Lally" opening in the same location. I perused the online menu, and was thrilled to see that they serve our favorite dishes from when it was the last place (Mark's Mac n Cheese, and the Smoked Chicken Lasagna). As you can imagine, it was a no-brainer to set up a surprise date night, with that same beautiful lady (now my wife of 19 years), on that same beautiful patio. Her Mark's Mac n Cheese, and my Smoked Chicken Lasagna were even more delicious then we remember. We each enjoyed the same house cocktail, "Tiki Me Away" (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Banana, Orgeat, Lime, Dark Rum Float & Firewater Bitters). For dessert, the love of my life enjoyed the Key Lime Tart, and I jammed on the whiskey bread pudding. Now here's where the restaurant hit the third part of the trifecta (food, atmosphere, & service). Our server, Kristin (aka, The Bob Ross of Sauce) took, what was already a wonderful evening, to a whole new level, with her charisma & personality. And it wasn't just Kristin, the entire staff took care of us and made us feel so welcome. This place is a gem. Patronize it often. Tell your friends about it. Put the word out on social media. Keep this place open. Read about it's mission, and you'll see it's good for the community, and it's good for humanity.“

“they were at the late night at the zoo and barely an hour into the event they started crossing off items on the menu due to not being prepared for the size of crowd. The guy at the window seemed like he could careless to be there. I also understand that its a larger event but having to wait 20+ mins for simple loaded fries is ridiculous. After 25 mins i ended up getting a refund. Im not usually one to leave bad reviews, but felt this one was needed.“

We were last there on NYE for an early dinner and the service and food were top notch. Honestly would choose this over other $100 places, so good! They went above and beyond for us. Hope they can continue to build back up demand—as it is such an incredible atmosphere since the remodel!“

“Awesome Experience! At first I wasn’t impressed. My server seemed to be really off, she fumbled her words, had a hard time answering my questions, (maybe she was nervous) etc. I ordered a martini but she brought me something terrible in a rocks glass! We ordered, the salad bar was amazing!!! Fresh and had several choices. Our meal was another story, our waitress got our order wrong. I wanted chicken parmigiana and I got a sandwich?! She did get it corrected but I had to wait longer. At the end of our meal the manager trish came over to offer apologies. She also brought me the martini I originally asked for that she said she made herself. Awesome!! It was delicious!! She was friendly, chatted with us for a moment and deliver our bill. She didn’t even charge me for the drink! We noticed her guiding our server who was then having issues at another table. I would say we won’t be back but Trish really helped turned our opinion around! She’s definitely a manager who cares! We will give it another try and hopefully just get a more proficient server!“

“Met a friend here at Beacon Hills last Friday night and our experience was really good. It was super quiet in there because there was a husker game starting at 7 o'clock that night so not a lot of diners. Our food was excellent. I had Craigs soon to be famous chicken sandwich and I would definitely order that again next time. Two of the ladies had the pork tenderloin sandwich and they raved about their dinner as well. The mac & cheese was good, but they must've been waiting for our sandwiches to finish so it was lukewarm when it came out but i heated up leftovers the next day and it was very good Since it was so quiet in there there was a lot of servers just standing around and talking, which did distract somewhat from the service. But overall would definitely go again. By the way, we did sit on the bar side in case the husker game did start before we finished.“

“Came here with the squad after a Fortnite win. If I could rate it out of ten I would rate it 6.7 stars. First of all they had the chiefs game on and I hate Taylor Swift. The waiters to friendly and the food was to good but there was small portion sizes. The lemonade tasted like water lemon and sugar. The music was a little too loud and they refused to change the channel. But they also do not have ice cream which is a must have. Overall a positive elixir trade.“

I had an enjoyable meal of a Home style cafe feel, and warm friendly service. I am loving the new ways that Sapp Bros is having restaurants nowadays!! Check out the fresh made food. I had chicken strips with Real mashed potatos, small side salad, and a slice of lemon meringue pie with sweet tea to drink.

Though next time i will be having the hand-breaded chicken friend steak with real mashed potatoes...😋 Yum!

“This is the best thing Omaha has going in food. The owner levels the playing field for all food businesses in Omaha to have a chance to grow. Pay is in line with output. Every ethnicity of food an taste is able to utilize this space and thrive. Kudos Omahas lunches are better because Dandelion is here.“

“Had an excellent time at habitat restaurant.It was very empty when I arrived (I chose an earlier dinner time) but filled up a bit as we left.We had very dedicated service since the restaurant was empty.I appreciated the non alcoholic drink options though my only complaint was every drink had lime juice. The server told me she could swap it out for something else after I had ordered two and mentioned it to her. So it seems like the drinks are suggestions that you can modify.They use agave straws which help the environment since they aren't plastic, but don't dissolve on you like the paper ones can.The crispy Brussel sprouts were delicious. I'd still like it a bit crisper but the portion size was very large, enough to serve 4 people. I would recommend the addition of the onions and bacon.The black garlic parpadelle came with shrimp though it doesn't say it on the menu. I was full from Brussel sprouts and my two drinks (I don't eat that much)The salmon was perfectly cooked.The steak was more of a 4 star item. It didn't stand out as much but was still fine.The only issue that we all agreed on was some of the dishes can be very heavy handed with salt.Parking is available on the street. There is a parking garage across the way and the server told me you can park for free on the first floor since they are working on something. It is not validated parking. For more details and to make sure it's still available I would call the restaurant to confirm this.“

“Food was excellent but didn't arrive until 2 of the 3 of us had to leave for the concert. The waitress was not at fault and assured us this was not the usual practice. Our dinners were discounted and we ate them at home at 10:00. It was our first time at Zinc and we hope to return and give it a second chance.“

“My singular experience was pleasant. I sat at the bar, and even though there were many small groups around it me, it was still a quiet environment. The music volume was very low, I can't tell you how much I loved that aspect. The bartender was a total pro. My food was delivered quickly and was excellent. I had the goat cheese balls. They were so amazing I pretty much inhaled them. Then I ordered the grilled salmon salad and oh my stars and garters, it was exquisite. I have attached a photo of said salad.“

“Referred here by local professionals. The place is awesome. Food choices amazing...I ordered the tuna melt and almost melted as I bit into the perfectly crisp sour dough bread with a soft inside. Absolutely loved it...and, bonus....there was a musician singing acoustic versions of my favorite alternative rock songs. What??? I will say, there were some surprises.inthe salads such as lamb! Yikes...good thing my bestie ate it up and I was able to reorder promptly.“

“First of all, I was a little irritated because the server wouldn’t give us her name, but when she explained why, I understood completely and so we called her Gina, with her permission. And Gina was stellar! She was attentive without being intrusive, made sure we had what we needed, had a great sense of humor, and made the experience really fun. She even managed to score us bread and olive oil even though the kitchen was closed! And she knew her wine. It was an all around positive experience and I look forward to going back regularly.
