Monarch Restaurant Reviews
The staff at Monarch alone make it worth going! Alexis, Alyssa, and Mary are SO friendly and attentive. My team will make it a point to return every time we are in town now because of them. The food was amazing.
Our server Jude was outstanding!!!! Best part of our dinner experience was the staff. Jude and our bartender (didn't catch her name) were so fun and welcoming and we enjoyed interacting with them. Our meal was amazing. We shared the tomahawk amd a few sides and we had mussels for an appetizer. We really enjoyed our time at the monarch for my boyfriends birthday. They both made us feel very special.
We loved the ambiance from the second we booked. Our server Jude was incredible!!!! One of our favorite servers we've ever had! Had him all to ourselves and had great conversation and laughs and just a great time with him. The food was really good. Generous portions, flavorful. We shared the tomahawk and it came out cooked perfectly and tender and juicy. Definitely worth s meal if youre ever staying at the hotel Deco!

Monarch Restaurant is a convenient spot for a meal before a show at the Orpheum. The menu focuses on steaks, featuring options like rib-eye, Steak Frite, and a berry salad with steak add-on. Pasta dishes and salmon are also available. Desserts, such as chocolate peanut butter cake, are delightful. Some guests have enjoyed the Beef Wellington, though one reviewer mentioned it was overcooked. The quiet and cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for special occasions. The service is generally attentive, with staff being friendly and accommodating, especially for Gluten Free dietary needs. The decor reflects its history as part of a hotel built in the early 1930s, adding to the quaint charm of the restaurant. Visitors appreciate the bar as a favorite spot, enhancing the overall experience. While the food is enjoyable, there are hopes for more variety in the menu and wine selections. Overall, the restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with great service and a charming atmosphere.
