We ordered the lamb momo which were insanely addictive! We also got the calamari alongside as an appetizer which was very good. For our main we shared the goat and mushroom tarkari which tasted super fresh and had a perfect level of spice, so it paired well with our mango lassi.

“I have probably been to Ump’s one thousand times. Birthplace of beautiful pastries and delicious, uniquely named sandwiches. I adore the handmade paintings displayed around the dining area, and the big wooden beams. One of the coziest little places in town with the ambience of coffee-grinding and small talk. An establishment fit for all ages and humors; a Hanover staple for certain.”

My favorite Asian food in the upper valley by far. Prices are good especially for being in Hanover. Great lunch specials. They are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming.”

“Last night we went to Jesses o celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! I had called for some special accommodations I wanted. They did a fabulous job with our booth (which I requested for privacy and low noise level. It was a perfect booth! I had requested champaign be on the table in ice and chilled glasses. Candles were another request. The table was perfect and beautiful. Very romantic! My Huband's gift was delivered to the restaurant. It was sitting on the shelf behind the table. Perfect! The Managers and staff were excellent! A shout out to Tiffany and Abbey(manager). So very pleasant and accommodating. We have never had such excellent service. We have to many 4/5 star restaurants in our 50 years together (actually 52 if you count our courtship) LOL! So, congratulations on a job well done. Everyone (seemed to know about it) Even other patrons came by our table and congratulated us! e were truly made to feel special. I highly recommend Jesses for celebrations, or just a fabulous meal. They usually have live music in the bar area on the weekend nights. Which is where we usually sit for the comradery. . Always someone interesting to strike up a conversation with, sitting right next to you. Jesses is the place to be!”

“I was a regular here for almost five years before the rebrand. There was a period where I used to eat here twice a week for lunch. I primarily ordered on the app and occasionally ordered in person. I don't think much has changed since the new owners took over. The food is affordable and comes out quickly when you order over the app. The quality is pretty consistent and the rewards program is good. There is one thing, however, that has prevented me from being a regular like before.

The lack of explicit, easy options (like the old elote style, modern mexican style, etc.) has been a big reason I haven't been back often. I recognize that in rebranding, the new owners likely cannot use the same ingredients and names that Boloco used to. Still, easy options help when I am tired and hungry during my short lunch break and want to order without thinking, whether that be on the app or in person. I don't want to punch in everything on the app or have to remember my order in a line with twenty other hungry people behind me rushing to get their food. When I had gone in after the rebrand, neither the menu nor food containers had labels saying what my choices were, so it also made it hard to tell in a rush what everything was. This was also made more difficult because some options that existed before the rebrand were no longer available.

My suggestion is to have a few basic bowls or burrito styles that can be ordered at a glance. It's standard practice at every other place I've been to that serves customizable bowls. Doing this would remove my reason for not returning often.”

“Pine is the restaurant for The Hanover Inn, Dartmouth’s charming hotel located in the heart of downtown Hanover and overlooking The Green. Pine’s location, elegant atmosphere, and service were excellent; the food was just alright. I enjoyed my salmon dinner, but my dad was disappointed by the size of his scallop dinner, given the high price. There are not many options here for kids, either, so beware. Overall, I would recommend this place for an elegant meal out, but be prepared for a high bill and small portions.”

“My favorite local restaurant if you have an appetite, want healthy options, and want to spend under 20$. Good luck with parking and weaving through the students. It's worth it!”

“Nice cafe, out of the way for me so was my first time, came to try their bagels. IMHO the best bagels in UV. The Works was heavily seasoned(maybe a tad saltier than I prefer but still very good) and the Jalepeno had a nice residual heat. Will come back! Second trip, Asiago Cheese very nice. All toast to nice crisp outside and good chew in the center.”

It can hang with the Korean/Japanese cuisine in Los Angeles and it’s located in the small town of Hanover! Great portions and prices compared to LA!”

“If you’re looking for authentic Thai food, this is the place. I had the Crispy Chicken with sweet and sour sauce and was blown away. It tasted exactly like what I’d get in Thailand. Perfectly cooked, crispy outside, juicy inside, and full of flavor. Every dish I tried was consistently excellent. Definitely a must-try!!”

“I visited Hanover with my girlfriend for Homecoming weekend. There was quite a line at this place and just two people working very hard. They still maintained their New York/Jersey senses of humor while taking care of customers. It was better and less expensive than Starbuck's. Also purchased several bags of their whole bean coffee which makes excellent espresso.”

“We had to take out. It was great as usual. The roti was crisp. The garlic naan was well seasoned. Rice was well seasoned as usual. Fried vegetable appetizers were all great as were the sauces. We particularly like the tamarin sauce. The curries are also good.”

“Was in town for a wedding and stopped by Murphy’s. Everything you want out of a dining experience. Fish and Chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. If I am ever in town again will 100% swing by!”
