“Nick did a phenomenal job accommodating my large and complicated order, requiring the kitchen crew to make a few items fresh to order. I wanted to try items from the lunch menu since they weren’t available on the dinner menu. They rang up as $13.79 per item instead of $8.99 per item shown on the menu. When I informed Nick about the price discrepancy, he resolved the matter very quickly and gave me a new receipt with the correct prices listed. The service Nick provided was exceptional, so I will definitely return to this location in the future based on that.”

“I just want to start off by saying, this is our third year coming to Lexie’s Landing. This year without hesitation has been a 10 out of 10!! We love boating and we love good drinks and good food. Whether it’s date night or lunch with our kiddos, our go to is a quick boat trip to Lexie’s!! I can’t thank Rob, Brigid, and Morgan enough. Our kids absolutely adore you guys and every single time we come, you guys make us feel like family!! Being in the restaurant industry myself, I tell all my regulars about Lexie’s. “Would give it an (overall) 5 rating and 4 (food) rating given a little more sauce on the pasta, and WAY less salt on the bread rolls - which I cannot even eat without scraping first. Regular stop for the wife and I for Spaghetti with Meatballs and sometimes, Sausages. With the Meat Sauce, a very tasty meal for the price, though I believe the portions of the sauce have been reduced recently, lowering it's value as well. All meals come with a choice of soup or salad, I choose the salad regularly (lettuce, tomato, onion and croutons, Italian dressing and optional fresh grated cheese). The tiramisu is to die for and the wine (Red Blend) very nice at the price.”

“I got the chocolate boba milk tea. The boba itself was great and I liked the flavor, it was like chocolate milk with tapioca boba, only issue was that the straw was literally the same height as the large cup, so I had to press my face on the lid to drink the boba. PLEASE GET BIGGER STRAWS :(”

“We were there when they first opened and it was clear the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned since at least the prior day. Men's room was filthy according to my husband with the trash full still. The table we were originally sat at smelled like a urinal sponge. We asked to move and they did. The waiter was great and the food was good for the most part. My husband's chicken was too well done but all of the steaks were perfect.”

“After shopping at the malls in Newington, I had a quick, late lunch at the McDonald’s on the outside perimeter of The Crossings.\n\nI got a hamburger. With 8.5% NH Meals Tax, it was $2.16. \n\nService was fast. The tables and floors were clean.\n\nThe hamburger was most, tender, tasty, and not dry or overdone in any way. It was very good.\n\nI’ve found this McDonald’s to be pretty consistent at serving fresh, well-prepared food.\n\nI rate this experience with this McDonald’s at 4.50.\n\nThe reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues that put me very far behind.\n\nIf you found this review useful, please click the THUMBS UP to indicate HELPFUL.”

“Last night I hit up Chipotle, and I swear I must’ve talked to the girl working there like a million times, but she just wasn’t getting what I wanted. Like, she was totally Spanish-speaking, I guess. Then there was this customer behind me who looked like he wasn’t from around here and only spoke Russian, I felt kinda bad for that girl. But then, outta nowhere, the kids working at Salsa comes over, and boom he’s fluent in Russian and also he does speak english Lmao, this is wild, but honestly, I was kinda impressed!”

The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive throughout, balancing professionalism with a casual friendliness that made us feel right at home. We tried a variety of dishes, starting with a deluxe sampler plate featuring oysters, clams, shrimp cocktail, and smoked salmon that impressed with its freshness and generous portions. For the main course, the Ahi tuna steak and Korean BBQ scallops were both cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, offering excellent quality that justified the portions. I especially appreciated how the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accommodate substitutions, such as swapping asparagus for another vegetable. The espresso martini was a highlight in the cocktail selection—smooth and expertly made. While the place gets quite lively and busy, especially on weekends, the energetic vibe adds to the overall experience rather than detracts from it. Surf Portsmouth is a fantastic destination for seafood lovers looking for fresh, diverse options and exceptional service in a lively waterfront setting. “Arriving we were met with friendly smiling hosts. We were offered inside or out but decided we didn’t need to wait for out when we could sit in the lounge which was basically open air (the wall opens onto the deck). Beautiful view of the river and tugs. Our waitress Mikayla (sp?) was super sweet and attentive. We never waited for a drink refill or to order more food. She was knowledgeable about the menu both food and drink. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the fish and chips and we ate our weight in oysters. Ten out of ten recommend ✌🏻❤️”

“Two Bees was such a delightful find! Everything about them was perfection. Walking into the cafe, the decor is lovely with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river. The staff was so sweet and just lovely authentic people. But the offerings they had were simply divine. Their croissant was reminiscent of European quality, all their ingredients were fresh and tasty, but the best thing was their passion fruit tart- outstanding! Very highly recommend this place!”
