“I just want to start off by saying, this is our third year coming to Lexie’s Landing. This year without hesitation has been a 10 out of 10!! We love boating and we love good drinks and good food. Whether it’s date night or lunch with our kiddos, our go to is a quick boat trip to Lexie’s!! I can’t thank Rob, Brigid, and Morgan enough. Our kids absolutely adore you guys and every single time we come, you guys make us feel like family!! Being in the restaurant industry myself, I tell all my regulars about Lexie’s. “Would give it an (overall) 5 rating and 4 (food) rating given a little more sauce on the pasta, and WAY less salt on the bread rolls - which I cannot even eat without scraping first. Regular stop for the wife and I for Spaghetti with Meatballs and sometimes, Sausages. With the Meat Sauce, a very tasty meal for the price, though I believe the portions of the sauce have been reduced recently, lowering it's value as well. All meals come with a choice of soup or salad, I choose the salad regularly (lettuce, tomato, onion and croutons, Italian dressing and optional fresh grated cheese). The tiramisu is to die for and the wine (Red Blend) very nice at the price.”

“The new location as well as the staff are excellent. The sandwiches are of excellent quality with a remembrance of the original Moe's of their location near Market Square. I grew up having Moe's subs (original w/garlic oil). You should expect a little wait time due to the popularity of their sandwiches but well worth any wait time. Moe would be proud. Thank you”

“Started out a little rough. We were seated by host who told us he would get us utensils when we were seated. We had the rolls with the delicious spread but no utensils. Waitstaff took drink order and still no utensils. Asked waiter 3 times and finally received them. Waitstaff was extremely friendly with a desire to be sure everything delivered was as requested. Met the front of house manager, Stephanie. What a hoot! She is the life and generates that within the staff. And our food - I had the large NY Sirloin, unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection and my wife had a burger that she thought was perfect as well. Thank you TR for a welcome back experience and we’ll try to not wait as long as before to return.”

“Dine in, take out and online orders available. WiFi available through Walmart. Large sub and wrap selection. Non alcoholic beverages available. Good service. This Subway has problems with coupons, but, the young lady behind the counter figured out a way to make it work.I ordered a meatball with veggies and cheese on multigrain. I was so hungry, it hit the spot!I recommend this Subway. Located next to Walmart customer service.”

“Good selection of base flavors and add-in options. But it's a tiny shop and the flow of which way the line goes is unclear, with people coming in both doors. The indoor seating is a handful of two-seat tables, but there are a few benches outside. For families, it's definitely more economical to split large sizes if the kids can agree!”

“I work at the Moffatt-Ladd House across the street and have been meaning to come over and experience their menu, as we often have overlapping customers. Our host sat us right away, drinks were fabulous, and all the meals were absolutely amazing! (I had the caribbean grilled swordfish.) My mom had been here with her parents in college in the early 80s and clearly Casey is carrying the mantle well. Thank you especially to our server, Rachel!”

“oh wow... what a find! We were looking for a seafood restaurant when passing thru the area and the name caught our attention. We had an amazing dinner! We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! Dinner and service were both top-notch.. and we can't wait to return!”

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.”

I don’t know his pain, Or how many sleepless nights he had wide awake just pondering his place in the universe. I don’t know the curves of his body, or the edges of his wildest dreams. I don’t know how many times he said “I don’t care if you think my chickens too hot DAD I know there’s a place for my Caliente Poule!” I wish I did but I simply don’t know his family or friends and just how deeply he impacted their lives. If he made them laugh, or cry. Vacations spent making memories. I don’t know any of that. I don’t know how he lived or how he died.

But I know his chicken.

“Two Bees was such a delightful find! Everything about them was perfection. Walking into the cafe, the decor is lovely with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river. The staff was so sweet and just lovely authentic people. But the offerings they had were simply divine. Their croissant was reminiscent of European quality, all their ingredients were fresh and tasty, but the best thing was their passion fruit tart- outstanding! Very highly recommend this place!”
