“The best ice cream around!! It's not officially Summer for my family until we all meet-up and have our first ice cream of the season, ONLY from Lone Oak!!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all outdoor seating at picnic tables ir in your vehicle and you order outside at a walk up window.“
“The first time here and the servings were right for the prices, and the food was above average, which was great to find. This will be a place to revisit another time. Going out has got to be so expensive nowadays. It is hard to hold prices against an establishment.“
“My mum loves this place! They are always so kind & play music she knows all the words to, it's very comfortable. Ample parking and easy to access (ADA).It seems like a quintessential locals restaurant; they have an extensive seniors menu that is priced fairly & generously portioned. Also comes with tea/coffee and dessert (mums favorite is the tapioca pudding). The seafood has always been good. They have fried & baked options.... and it's not often that one of the sides offered is pickled beets! This is one of the "old new england" spots that have survived & is doing it the same way they always did; there is a wonderful comfort in that, also (and most importantly), they do it well.Parking: Plenty of off-street parking in a well spaced private lotWheelchair accessibility: All one level, ramps to the doors. There are 2 sets of doors (a spacious foyer), but it's right in front of the hostess stand & they are even to help with doors & they aren't particularly heavy (glass)“
“I know the food is really good and the peppers platter is the best meal for the price it fed me for 2 days. The employees are very nice but a little pushy to get you out , had a hard time to enjoy and relax. That's the only downside.other than that we loved the food.Parking: Lots of places to park.“
“Went here for the first time last weekend. Was very busy but, we showed up right in time and sat right down. Really good food. We had the Big Mac quesadilla, awesome! Mac and cheese with shaved steak. And my wife had a Caesar salad with steak tips. We loved everything. We'll go back. Looks like a great place to watch a game too.“
“Food was fantastic. Portions, freshness, flavors, presentation. Top notch. Parking huge, place small. Wish they felt confident and moneyed enough to expand or add a floor. Restrooms were sterling for access, decor, hygiene, aesthetics. Hostess was a very welcoming and very organized greeter. Waitress was a super professional and a wizard with recommendations. Cocktails were made by some person who is clearly a master at Jameson Highballs and or Cranberry Margherita works of art. Desserts were big city caliber, and the coffee was the perfect send-off into the night for the theater after a hell of a dinner. I was in a party of 4. All first timers. We all were floored at how great Johnson's is.“
“Went for my birthday with my husband, and it did not disappoint. Everything about this place is top notch, from the service to the atmosphere to the food. Cocktails are incredible. There is nothing that we ordered that we wouldn't highly recommend, abd this is the sort if place where I'd order something different even if I'm not sure about it because I know it would still probably be good. The scallops and my husband's steak were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were on point.“
“We love the food at Papaya Thai! We have only gotten take out for the last few years due to the pandemic, but finally decided to eat in. The dining room is very poorly set up. There are odd sized tables arranged in a strange way and the lighting is way too bright. Appetizer plates were actually tiny little cup saucers, which was also odd and hard to eat off of. While the food was good, as always, the atmosphere was very awkward and uncomfortable. They could make the space more inviting by rearranging tables and dimming the lighting. We will continue to get take out but most likely won't be back to dine in.“
“I dont live in the area and it sucks i wont be coming back anytime soon. The food here was amazing. I found this place after searching a bunch of different restaurants in the area. What a find. Highly recommend. Seemed like a local favorite with the crowd and i can see why.“
“Was late night Friday and not many places were open but we knew they were till 12 midnight so we stopped in and got dinner. If remember correctly they had about 10 beers on tap including local brewers beers which was nice they also had speciality drinks as well after ordering drinks we ordered a Bacon burger,Buffalo fingers and mozzarella sticks. The burger was great and the appetizers came out in minutes and were awesome! The menu didn't have any desert listed but we asked and they said they had a strawberry shortcake desert with ice cream and a brownie desert as well so we happily ordered both and they came out looking delicious and were not small in size. Both were great! It was a cold late night so it was quite in there but it looks as if there's normally a band and there's a bar and tables out on the back deck which is directly on the river and there's boats docked all along the back of restaurants. Definitely a cool place to eat on a summer night. I've heard it's really busy in summer time and on weekends and I could see why. There's tons of tvs, and lottery to play while you wait!“
“Dover IKKO Sushi & Japanese Steak House is a great and fun place for everyone, including the kids. The chef will put on a show sure to entertain all. The sake flows freely and good times are had. Sticking to the hibachi menu I went with the filet mignon and scallops. The chef will even throw in a few shrimp as well. Rice (with egg, etc.) and vegetables are cooked to perfection. More sake. Enjoy the onion volcano. Great for large parties. Very much recommended.“
“Founded in 1948 by a lobster fisherman, it has survived a major fire and been rebuilt into a large restaurant and bar. We started going to Newicks in 1967, and while the surroundings have changed, the quality of its food has not. This is a classic New England seafood restaurant, with a large selection from oysters to lobsters to ‘steamers’ (soft shell clams). The menu has been recently updated, but hasn’t changed that much. We started with oysters on the half shell, fresh and delicious; Newick’s traditional thick clam chowder, always good; and anew item, puffed crab Rangoon, as good as it gets according to my son. For mains, my wife had coconut shrimp, excellent. My son had Fish & Chips with a side of Calamari, done to perfection. I had the Fish & Chips as well, but with a side of clam strips. Again, excellent and the clam strips surprised me with tenderness. More than enough to take home what we didn’t eat. Good drink menu, good selection of draft beers. Excellent service. Always a great place to eat. We haven’t been disappointed in 57 years!“
“Ok, I give them a benefit of a doubt with 4 stars because they have been around so long. It's not quite what it used to be though. Prices are up and you get a little less in the fact they no longer serve rolls before your dinner. I know, same story everywhere, but here it seems to be more striking. Seems they've tried to accentuate the bar area, and in doing so, they are alienating the diners going for a quiet meal. The bar was rather loud during dinner with occasional outbursts of people having fun, I'm not saying that it's bad, just not what Anderson going to just have a nice meal would want. They could benefit from adding sound proofing between the bar and dining areas. As for the food, it was very good, cooked well and flavorful. Unfortunately the plate was so cold, I felt I had to eat fast or not be able to enjoy warm food. Maybe keep the plates in a warmer spot? I'll update next time I go back and see if they improve. Lastly service was good, waitstaff was pleasant and just attentive enough.“
“My experience at the 99 restaurant was amazing. Our server, i believe her name was Abby, was phenomenal!!!! Very friendly and kind. the food was so quick too! Not too noisy and everyone seemed very friendly in the staff, overall a very good location and I would come here again if all servers were like Abby!“
“We took our grandchildren to eat here and were so impressed by the quality of all the food for both the adults and the kids. The food here is made from scratch and prepared perfectly. I can’t wait to come back.Service and ambience was great too.Kid-friendliness: When the kids clean their plates you know its good food made right.“
“Family Owned East Java eatery. Authentic Indonesian spiced menu and service with a smile. If you’re missing Java or Bali cooking this is what you have been looking for. Also small grocery off to side so you can pick up some local flavors to cook with at home.“
