“For Valentine's Day weekend, my wife and I dined at the historical and exquisite Knife & Fork Inn on Friday, 2.13.26, since the 14th was totally booked. It was her first time there and mine since childhood. The menu was so extensive that it made it a bit of a welcoming challenge to focus on a particular choice. For starters, our huge portion of the Corn & Crab Chowder was the best that we have ever had and the Artisanal Cheese Plate was delectably wide-ranging. My wife loved the Halibut and my Bone-In Pork Chop was superb. Our cordial and diligent waiter, Carmen, who took service to the next level, suggested the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert and we were very glad that he did as it was perfectly sized to share! Before we arrived, I mentioned to my wife that this would be a top dining experience and it was more than that with the historical ambiance, service and the spectacular menu options. We will definitely be back to try some more of their varied cuisine!“

“Absolutely loved the food. Staff was so friendly and courteous. Asked if we were celebrating anything, asked if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions. All staff from waiters, hostess, everyone, I wanna say a manger or someone came and checked to see if everything was okay. I had the shrimp/lovster scampi. My other half had the ribeye with bone in. Absolutely no complaints. Will definitely be back. Gordon’s restaurants are just the best!!!“

“What a great experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was excellent. The wait was surprisingly short, and our food came out hot and fresh. You could tell everything was made with care because every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious.

The service was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the quality of the food definitely exceeded our expectations. It’s not often you find a place that gets everything right from speed to freshness to flavor but they absolutely did.

“Kristian was our server tonight. And what a lovely personable, accommodating young man.bi had left over which he politely asked if he could package it for me. When it came to dessert time I am on a medical diet and there was nothing that I could have. I asked him if he had fruit. He gave my son his wonderful chocolate Gnache cake and brought me a cup of fresh strawberries and blueberries. He always had a smile and did a great job and is an asset to the Tuckahoe Inn.“

“We had a fish platter from Bobs Seafood today and honestly cannot believe we waited this long to try it! We’ve been coming here every summer for crabs, which are always amazing, but today’s platter absolutely blew us away. The fish sandwich, fries, and onion rings were all delicious — fresh, perfectly cooked, and generous portions too.

What really keeps us coming back though is the customer service. Every single guy there is always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You can tell they appreciate their customers and take pride in what they do.

“Dined at Sugar Hill by the water last night for the first time. Service and food was excellent, ambiance was nice. I thought it would be nice if they had little lights at the tables and maybe a fire pit. Sugar Hill is like the Hamptons, from the stately inn to the valet parking definitely will return.“

“Been coming here for years when restaurant was Laguna Grill. Hamburgers/would be a great addition to your lunch menu as well as crabcake sandwiches. I've been there for dinner and the menu was good. Something simpler for lunch would be great. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. The bands are a plus to having a meal on the beach.“

“We went over LDW 2025, totally unplanned, and it was only our 2nd time there. We sat at the little bar on the small porch. My husband and I had the absolute best time! What started out as having a couple of drinks ended with many more and a great, upbeat afternoon! Katie was bartending and she was OUTSTANDING! That young lady was ebb and flowing and never skipped a beat and she never stopped being busy while we were there. Drinks were flowing, music was so fun, Katie handled it all like an absolute gem and the food was totally outstanding - absolutely recommend the jerk chicken wings! “Best Soul Food that I’ve ever had. Huge portions We got the steamers as an appetizer, served in a perfect garlicky broth. We had a fun and energetic server, named Ray. I was debating between the fried chicken or the smothered pork chop and he said “well, Popeyes is everywhere, get the Pork chop” The pork chop did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned, crispy smothered in gravy and onions. For sides, we both got the Collard Greens, I got the yams and my husband got Mac and Cheese. Best Collard Greens ever!
