“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“Love the place, food, environment, staff etc. Victor and Evan do a great job keeping GRI an inviting (and growing) restaurant with that small mom pop family feel. Throughout the years I have had many events and parties here including my businesses annual Christmas party. A lot of places you do not get to meet the owner of the family business. Evan and Victor are always checking up on guests, on the floor, delivering food, chatting it up, and being a part of the dining experience.“

“Tucked away behind the Main Street we stumbled upon this excellent restaurant. We ordered Spring rolls and a Japanese thingy for starter, both were really good. For mains it was Beef and Ginger and Prawn Fried Rice, again both excellent. So for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 drinks it came to 58 euros, even excellenter ?…music choice was a bit different in that it was dance oriented but wasn’t out of place. We have booked again and would obviously recommend ?“

“Hubby and I decided to stop in to watch the Knicks Game 3, and we’re so glad we discovered this local gem. The atmosphere was friendly, the food was great, and we instantly felt comfortable. “We hit this place last night on a whim on the way home from a gig…Megan the bartender was lovely! Funny, witty, and adorable! She made us a bar pie and was very diligent about getting it just right! This place is great and we made friends with a couple of cool fellas who are regulars there. My boyfriend ended up in a conversation about guitars. We came from lands far away so this was just a whim but we will definitely be back! This place is old school cool with great service! Thank you for making us feel welcome!“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“

“I hosted a memorial dinner here , it was a very exclusive event . Very private and I was accompanied well by the staff and owner/ management. I was very satisfied with the price . I was able to rent out the venue for a few hours . It was great ! Thanks again to Jasmine who was very professional and kind . Will recommend this amazing place to others looking for a space to host a gathering etc. I will also be using there services again in the near future :)“

We’ve been dining at The Front Porch regularly for the past 12 months and not only is the food creative and delicious (Asian fusion pub food, so YUMMY!), the staff is super friendly and the drinks are awesome. “Came here Friday evening, a great place right beside the train station. The food was excellent, we ordered the spice bag it was delicious, really tasted like the spice bag from home. The service was excellent, the staff were really friendly and could do enough for us. Definitely recommend!“

“I have passed this restaurant 100+ times and just never went in. It kinda looked dark and unopened. I have noticed that the owners spruced up the exterior with flowers and outdoor seating. I also noticed they were now on DoorDash. I ordered a bunch of papusas and a tamale . The papusas were a tiny bit greasy but otherwise very good. The tamale was also excellent. Amando's seems to be stepping up their game, given them a try.“
