“A most magical experience. We’ve been here multiple times. Chef Russell makes you feel like family. The food is absolutely delicious. The flavor profiles are insane, like nothing we’ve ever experienced. Definitely take the splurge, you won’t regret it.”

“After a long awaited trip to the store, it did NOT disappoint! I ordered The Casa, fresh mozzarella and burrata. Life may never be the same and I’ll be making more trips to the Bronx for the best cheese I’ve ever had!”

“Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.”

“Really great restaurant with authentic Mexican dishes and one of the best spicy margs I've had. Look forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu, especially the chilaquiles and birria tacos!”

“One of the best breakfast burritos I have had in NYC. Beyond that what makes this place special is the people that own the place. I would 100% recommend anyone coming to the heights.”

“If you’re ever in the Bronx and you don’t stop at Gino’s Pastry Shop, you’re missing out on a piece of real New York history. This Arthur Avenue staple has been serving up authentic Italian pastries for decades, and it’s exactly what you want from an old-school bakery — no frills, just flavor and tradition. The cannoli? Legendary. They fill them fresh to order, and the shells are crisp, flaky perfection with creamy ricotta that tastes like it was whipped up by someone’s Nonna in the back. The sfogliatelle and lobster tails are equally iconic — sweet, buttery, and loaded with filling. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies either — they’re dense, almondy, and always spot-on. The shop itself is cozy, with that classic Italian-American charm. Gino and the crew treat you like family, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Prices are super fair for the quality, and it’s cash-only — so come prepared. Bottom line: Gino’s isn’t just a pastry shop, it’s a Bronx institution. Worth the trip, worth the calories, and worth every bite.”

“It’s a restaurant that’s reminds me of my childhood and my early Twenties that was my go to Italian restaurant. I loved everything about this place and enjoyed the great food. I took my wife to celebrate our birthday together and talked about how amazing it was growing up in this neighborhood.”

“There are many vegetarian-friendly options here. The Himalayan and Indian spice flavors are interesting and engaging, without heat overwhelming the actual flavor of the dishes. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, and the guitarist who plays Sunday evenings is talented, with calming music.”

“Went there on a Friday night. It took a little while for us to be seated. But once we got seated, our waiter was very attentive and courteous. The food was great and so were the drinks. We had lobster spaghetti and shrimp & crab ravioli. For the drink, i had the gold digger cocktail. It's a lychee martini, ifykyk. The DJ was a vibe. They played afrobeat, R&B/hip-hop, reggae, and Spanish music. It's very loud in there, not a place for convo, but more for turning up. Definitely will be coming back.”

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.”

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!”

“The legendary Kiku Alpine STILL lives up to its name. Today's visit was a gentle reminder why I prefer the original Alpine over the secondary Paramus. To some, they might be the "same thing," but no, they're not. The atmosphere, the food, and the service are all way better in Alpine, as if the staff are being properly watched over by the responsible manager. Since the early 90s (my first visit), the food's been great, portions are generous, and the shows are always impressive.
Kiku had been one of my favorite, and it's now one of my children's favorite places to eat out.
Paramus left me with bitter taste several times over the years, including messing up the reservation TWICE and making me wait for over 45 minutes, saying that my table is being setup, until they admitted that they had messed up my reservation. Both times, I ended up going to Alpine and was served right. Weird, because I'm by biased, but things just worked out the way it did.”
