“We found ourselves in the Red Bank area for an event and were looking for a late meal that wouldn’t break the bank. RB has a plethora of fantastic higher end restaurants but we were looking for quality at a good price and… we found it at Oriental Empire. Fusion offerings were pretty standard but the taste was amazing. Ordering the Pad See Ew and it was delicious, as good as I’ve had. Service was impeccable and a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.“

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.

“We are pretty picky about fresh sushi since we have our usual go-to spots, but this place really impressed us. The sushi tasted fresh, and the quality felt a step above the typical sushi places we usually try. The poke bowl was really good too, and the chicken katsu was crispy and satisfying 👍“

“I got a really good chicken chow mein lunch special, fried wontons, and bean curd skin. The chow mein and rice were amazing and the fried wontons were very good. The wontons were a bit sweet and doughy for my taste, but still enjoyable. The bean curd skin was great. It came with seaweed salad which I wasn't expecting. Everyone I was with also enjoyed their dishes. The only complaint was $2.00 for rice on the hibachi dish was too much for what you actually got.
I will be getting food from here again and would be interested in dining in.“

“I have edited my review. I went back after 2 years and the food and service have completely deteriorated. The food is bad now. The chicken is hard and seems uncooked. The service is bad now they messed up my order and they didn't even apologize and just hung up. I hate writing this review because this place used to be my favorite.“

“I’m honestly shocked at all the bad reviews. We’ve been ordering from them the past few months and they hit every time. The taste never changes and always stays the same. Everything is always great and they deliver so fast. They are without a doubt, my favorite Chinese takeout ! “Very friendly staff a lovely place for family went there to have a little birthday party 50 years old for my brother-in-law and his friend, the prices were great and the plates were huge, we all had leftovers they have a nice hibachi section and the food was really delicious it was season 2 perfection I will definitely be going here again the kids love it I loved it my brother-in-law loved it and my mother-in-law who is hard to please loved it“
