“Crashed a private event and it was just my style. Might be stuffy in comparison to the bar around the corner, but otherwise seems like first class classical music and comfy couches for a celebratory drink. Can't comment on the food.

“The staff was stellar! The filet mignon and mashed potatoes were amazing. I enjoyed the asparagus; my boyfriend substituted the Brussels sprouts, and they were also delicious. The bread was warm and crusty, which we loved.

It was our anniversary, and they greeted us with well wishes when they checked in with our reservation. There was a Happy Anniversary card on the table, and as we left, the waitress wished us well again.

We asked for water with no ice, and later when another server refilled our glasses, he confirmed that we wanted no ice — a small detail, but much appreciated.

The atmosphere is rustic and romantically lit. The only small concern was that we were a bit chilly. We were seated by a window, and I believe a vent from the very high ceiling was blowing on us. If you go, you may want to bring a light sweater or scarf.

“Stopped by the newly opened Gigi’s in Long Branch on my way to the beach. First off, loved that they have a parking lot which didn’t stress me about finding a spot cause I was going to have that adventure when I headed to the beach. I ordered the grandma’s pie and garlic knots! The grandma’s pie had pesto on it and I am a s***** for pesto!! Love the crust style being crispy. Hands down the best garlic knots I ever had! Don’t sleep on this place. It’s 3 blocks from the beach, easy parking and they deliver. I look forward to some pasta dishes on my next visit! Other key likes of mine was the aesthetic, it’s beautiful Inside but decorated to make you feel outside. I was very impressed with the kid friendly atmosphere of the chalkboard wall, beanbag seats and they even have juice boxes on hand for the kiddos. They also accommodate our tweens and teens with a pizza wing mural for their insta! They really thought of everything. The whole staff were so accommodating and genuine. “This is a pretty good Neapolitan style pizza!
I wish they had a few more choices maybe with mozzarella di bufala (or some other classic toppings for this style such as prosciutto) and, more importantly, I wish they had delivery service available.

One thing to note is that they close the wood burning ovens after lunch and start using the electric ones during the afternoon/evening. At least, that is the case during the week. Not sure if it happens on weekends too. The pizza is still very good but there are a few differences when cooked in brick vs electric (I prefer brick-coal/wood fire)“
