“Typically I have always experienced a feeling of appreciation when I visit the Philly Pretzel Factory in Bear, DE or Middletown, DE BUT, today my visit to the Middletown, DE location left me feeling unappreciated and in fact like I was being a pest. I stopped into the store in order to redeem my ‘celebrate the Eagles win’ coupon. I purchased the 5 pretzels and received 5 free. The pretzels were cold and hard. I complained to both the cashier and the gentleman making the pretzels and was told they were just made. I begged their difference and the gentleman gave me an unfriendly attitude and said he’d just put them back in the oven and they’d be just fine! Needless to say they weren’t. They didn’t taste as fresh as usual nor were they soft. In my opinion this visit was totally unacceptable!!!“

“I have been to this store on several occasions. Who I assume is the owner of this franchise, NEVER fails to greet me, a trait that is lost in today's retail market. I went in today to take advantage of the NATIONAL HOT DOG DAY SPECIAL. He said to me, "you know that today Is #NationalHotDogDay". I answered, "That's why I came in" You countered with, "you know we have a hot dog special on Tuesday" and magically his signage changed to show his daily specials. “This location is unique in my opinion. And I like it!A few things to note. If you are not in a hurry to go anywhere. Order from here.When I first looked at the building. I didn't know it was Auntie Anne’s location. I almost passed on going in until I saw someone walk out with a bag of their pretzels. So, with that being said—It looks like they are closed (even on the days they are open — weekends only — please check Auntie Anne’s for correct hours or any updates).When you walk inside you will see no pretzels on display. Which, is fine. This is where the patience comes into play because the pretzels are made to order!!!I've been a few times since my first visit and it took them only 7-10 minutes to hand me my hot and fresh pretzel!!! I've enjoyed them every single time. No complaints! I prefer it that way instead of having the pretzels sit out over a heated light to stay warm all day.The consistency of the pretzel taste is there. However, my only issue is that I **believe** the pretzels are thinner (still doughy but not as thick) compared to other locations like the mall or airport.Other than that. The staff is very kind! and also ready to take your once you approach the counter.I will visit them every time I'm in the area and craving an Auntie Anne’s pretzel.“

“I came a few days before Christmas, and brought two pizza pretzels, and they were old. They Manager took very good care of us, refunded the money and remade out pizza pretzel. I did not get the young ladies name, but ai had to come on here And say that I felt satisfied enough, even though the first time wasn't right, the customer service was worth returning and trying again. “I LOVE this location! I can’t say enough positive things about it. Extremely clean, accommodating, patient, fresh and DELICIOUS! I had the best experience with Mason and Yazmehene. They helped me to make a hungry Girl Scout troop of over 22 girls extremely happy for their meeting! 100/10 recommend! And for any Burlington County people now living near this location ….THEY HAVE BOOST SLUSHYS!!! RUN DONT WALK TO THIS STORE!

“Auntie Ann's usually earns a five-star rating from me, but I'm compelled to raise a serious concern about this particular location inside Walmart, where I've enjoyed their pretzels for years. Recently, over the last two months, I've noticed a soapy taste to the pretzels. This isn't a one-off; it's happened more than once, and my palate is quite sensitive—I can discern individual ingredients in my food. Could someone from this store or from Auntie Ann's corporate office please investigate? I wouldn't normally take the time to write about this, but it's become distressing as it's now affecting my enjoyment of what used to be a favorite treat.“
