“Made reservations for 630 on 10/17, the host was going to sit us at a small round table in the front, I explained to her that the amount of food we were going to order was too much for this table and she quickly accommodated me to a bigger table. Then , we had the most sweetest waitress Areej , she was well mannered, always smiling and suggested foods to try! Alllll the food was phenomenal! I never Ate chicken pot pie, but those chicken pot pie empanadas, were absolutely out of this world. Definitely will be coming back soon!!“

We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) “My go to Hookah lounge in Staten Island. They make good drinks, tasty hookah, and their food is pretty good. I was surprised. This is a good spot to hang out and conduct a meeting. Six Tortillas would of been fine for that dinner. We asked for more and they gave us 3. Noticing the bill I WAS CHARGED for the 3 extra ($2.50)? That's Not Good Business. I ordered pick up and the food was hot and fresh upon picking up. we ordered the garlic knot Sicilian, my kids loved it and it in general the pizza was good . we ordered the boneless wings also were good. the pork ribs amazing just wish they had dry rub options. spinach and artichoke dip, cheese needed to melt but flavor was good and large portion. potato croquettes were also delish and come with sauce . the staten island chicken panini and twisted were also delish! beef empanadas a lil soggy but more from transport but flavor was good . (maybe dff type of container or poke holes in future ) we also had a frozen sangria that I wished after we had ordered more.. will def order again!“

I’ve been there enough times to say this isn’t just one good experience. She is consistently on point. She remembers people, remembers what you drink, pays attention to what’s going on around her, and somehow notices what you need before you even have to ask.

There have been plenty of times where I’ve turned around or gotten caught up in a conversation, and before I even realize my drink is low, she’s already taking care of it. And if a drink has been sitting there too long, she’ll be the first one saying, “No, no, no, that’s been sitting too long,” and replaces it.

What I respect about that is it never feels like she’s doing it just to run up a tab or push another drink. She genuinely cares about the service and wants people sitting at her bar to have a good experience.

She works hard, she’s always willing to help, and she has that rare ability to keep track of everything happening around her without making it look forced. Even when she’s busy, you still feel taken care of.

A good bartender can make you a good drink. Alia understands the whole experience.I really can’t say enough about her. If you’re going to Dolce, sit at the bar and ask for Alia. The attention, personality, and level of service speak for themselves.“
