It is one of those places whereby you might be having a difficult day only to have that change by the hospitality and quality of food. I always enjoy the pizza with sausage and anchovies as well as the Brooklyn pie which is also “heavenly”. The chicken parmigiana with linguine, garlic and oil alters your feeling state and makes you smile.It is delicious! “Oakwood has the most DELICIOUS Pizza. I love their Ala carte Slice selection.... their Cheesesteak Slices are AWESOME.... “My wife found this spot and it was fantastic. We tried the Detroit style pizza with salami, honey, basil and sauce and it was amazing. The best pizza I ever had. The service was great as well, we had a nice waitress who was very helpful in choosing a pie. Atmosphere was pretty cool for a pizzeria with funny signs and nice people. Only thing is that it’s a little tight and you may be sitting very next to people where you can easily overhear conversations. However, this was also cool because we got to see what others were eating and you can talk and meet new people.“

“We came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for a group of 6. You enter through the pizza shop to get to the dining room and were promptly seated. Our server was excellent! She was very polite, friendly, did not mind repeating herself and was very patient with the elderly members of our group. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and everyone enjoyed their selection. Found a new gem with great prices plus BYOB. Only downside is the dining room gets a little loud. “Maria’s Pizza comes highly recommended. The owner/staff was so kind and professional and exemplified the best customer service I have experienced in a while. I inquired about catered food and the owner was willing to prepare something for me in a way different than he normally makes it and it was prior to a holiday when he must have been filling multiple catering orders. Needless to say, it was delicious and people were asking where I got it from at the party. I have always liked their food but this was a positive experience and one I won’t forget. “A neighborhood pizzeria located in the Lanes Mill strip mall near the entrance to the GSP North in Brick. The menu concentrates on pizza with a variety of other baked dishes. I ordered a large eggplant sandwich to go. It costs about $11. The roll was 14 inches long. The eggplant skin was removed, lightly fried and then baked to a creamy softness. I didn't want mozzarella so I had red sauce. The older Italian couple that run the place make their own sauce and mozzarella. The sandwich was delicious and can easily feel two. Limited table seating. Mostly take out. Recommend.“

“They charge you on soda refills which was $3.50 a pop. It should be noted they charge for refills. I didn't see any notation on the menu. I may have missed it, but next time I'll order only one. It is BYOB place. I wonder if I can bring a soda??“
