“This is exactly what you want from a small counter service shop. The pastries and menu items are unique to the area and very flavorful. Items marked spicy are truly spicy, so be careful if you're sensitive to spice. The dining area is cozy but not cramped. Food and drinks are ready fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive.“

“Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat Authentic Italian food in Philly! I literally stop in every single time I'm in town. The food is just perfect, authentic and I love how they have a new menu every week or so for different regions! Beyond excellent service. “Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!“

“I often come here to fulfill my craving for Vietnamese coffee in the city. Every time I come, I feel cared for and welcomed throughout my stay. The employees are prompt to receive my order and any questions I may have. Overall, I adore the cafe and will continue to come for my weekday morning coffees.“

“This is a delicious spot!!! I got the s'mores crepe and it had whole graham crackers in the middle so you get a great crunch! Hubs devoured his strawberry and Nutella crepe. They had a connect four on the wall so we played that as we waited for our food. Crepes came out quickly.
Went back a second time. Still amazing. Highly recommend the work of art of the brownie crepe!“

“Excellent coffee. Friendly helpful staff, and I say that not as a throw-away easy compliment. Out of a total of three visits I can think of the barista being unexpectedly kind each time.
On one occasion my partner rushed in to let our toddler use the toilet then offered to buy something but was met with reassurances there was no need. He gave her a free coffee.
Decor and vibes not my vibe. This is why I drink my coffee at home.“

“I’ve used sweet talk a few times for their decorated themed cookies and they’re always so delicious and beautifully made! We just recently used them for my daughter’s 1st birthday and they were just everything I could have imagined. The Cinderella theme we spoke about came out absolutely perfect and I’m so grateful!! The taste can’t be beat either because the cookies are delicious!!“

“Some of the best black coffee I’ve had! I’m originally from Illinois. While the cafes I’ve been to in that state are good, this place didn’t water it down, and I didn’t even ask for strong black coffee like I normally would in Illinois. Very polite people! Got my drink in like a minute or two. Went well with my walk around the area!“

“I’ve been getting banh mi from Cafe Cuong for over 15 years, they have the best banh mi in town. However, last time I went in 2025, the young guy at the counter overcharged $5…this is not about the 5 bucks that he try to steal, it’s about even with loyal customers, he’s still trying to to screw over. Really smart running the business..I stop going!“

“I'm a regular at Two Eagles given that it's only a block away from my home. I've been going here for the last 6 years and the quality of the food has remained exceptional! It's a family owned cafe and the entire family is very welcoming. Nadire and her family are amazing and glad to have a great neighborhood cafe like Two Eagles around! “The space is beautiful and thoughtfully curated. I ordered a tea and rather than being handed a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it, the tea was properly steeped with the tea bag removed so that I could enjoy without worrying about it being oversteeped—such a helpful touch!!“

“I had such a great experience at The Turkish Brew! The Turkish coffee was rich, authentic, and perfectly prepared. I also tried some Turkish food, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and truly reminded me of home.

“This place has been on our list for a long time, and we’re so lucky it’s close to our home! We had an amazing breakfast experience. Everything we ordered was soooo good.
I usually feel heavy after eating breakfast sandwiches, but theirs was exceptional: delicious and super fresh. I was so happy after the meal that I even started shadowboxing outside! 🥊😄
Make sure to order the breakfast burritos! They are absolutely delicious!

“This place feels like home. I decided to do a day trip to Philly from NY and I’m so happy I came across this cafe. The lady at the front is so warm and welcoming. The decor, books, and couches make you want to stay there for a while. To top it off, the drinks are amazing!! I had the honey cinnamon latte and it was PERFECT!! Not too sweet or overwhelmed with cinnamon. I’d love to visit again!“

I recently discovered Good Karma Cafe and I'm hooked! This charming spot exceeded my expectations with its warm atmosphere, top-notch service, and delicious food.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, happily answering our questions about the menu. We indulged in their mouthwatering chicken sandwiches on sourdough bread, paired with refreshing lemonade and iced tea. The cozy back dining room, adorned with vibrant art and lush greenery, made for a pleasant dining experience.
Their breakfast and brunch menu boasts an array of tempting options, making me eager to return. Standouts include the Colonel Mustard sandwich and almond croissant.
Good Karma Cafe excels in:
- Friendly, attentive staff
- Beautiful decor
- Excellent selection of hot and cold beverages
- Tasty sandwiches and pastries
- Ample seating
- Convenient WiFi and water for customers
Minor drawbacks:
- Limited outdoor seating
- Coffee (large latte) was bitter and milk was over-steamed (though smoothies were great!)
Overall, Good Karma Cafe is an ideal spot for a satisfying breakfast or lunch. I'll definitely be back for more!

“Small cafe with 3 small tables (2 chairs per table), came by for a quick brunch. There were 2 employees when we came by Cashier/Barista and the chef. The Cashier/Barista was very nice and the food was pretty simple but good. My one year old toddler loved their Orzo Risotto, unfortunately there was no high chair but we made it work.“

“It’s not just another coffee shop. It feels like home in all the best ways. Walking in you are always greeted with a smile and staff that care deeply about the customer experience & the menu never disappoints. They switch up some menu items monthly/seasonally that are all uniquely delicious. They also have seating inside and outside, with a comfortable setting to meet with friends or get work done (WiFi and outlets available!). Started coming here when I was pregnant a few years ago and formed great connections with the staff who my child now also gets excited to see (shout out to Barb & Michelle!!). In addition to regularly grabbing coffee, we also used them for our son’s first birthday party cupcakes and dessert tray. Communication was amazing and the treats turned out great. Cannot recommend them enough!“

“My partner and I have absolutely loved coming in for late night Thursdays! There are next to no places in the area that are open past 8pm so this spot has been essential for us!! Absolutely love the vibes and the tea selection is excellent. I love being able to choose from several different tea lattes when many other places in the city are more coffee oriented. I really hope the late nights continue! The staff member that is usually working then is incredibly sweet.“

“Nice store and they sell ice creams, coffee, biscottis, chocolates and many more. This bakery is owned by the Termini Bros bakery as the receipt and bags are from Termini’s. I ordered the Pistachio ice cream, chocolate almond biscotti and cranberry pistachio biscottis. The ice cream is very creamy and delicious. I personally liked the chocolate biscotti than the cranberry and chocolate chip cinnamon biscotti. The staffs are friendly and courteous.“
