“Not my first time there and won’t be the last.
Staff was knowledgeable and displayed the middle eastern warmth and hospitality.
Chef Soroosh gracefully sent us some complimentary items to perfectly pair with our dishes.
From the menu to the service. Everything was on point.
Thank you Sawa!“

“Genuinely some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. This spot manages to combine Mexican and Lebanese flavors in the most delicious way possible. Also just a generally cool and cozy vibe, with beautiful art on the walls and great music. A must try in Brooklyn!“

“The five stars for the hummus, -absolutely incredible. We also got a swarms lamb wrap and a chicken wrap which were delicious and unique with slices of pickle.
Smear some humus on that wrap- forget about it.
We were just walking out of subway when we found this- glad we did!“

“Lebanese food served in small plates. Really enjoyed the options they had. The labne plate and pita bread is so fresh and delicious. The batata was crispy and excellent. The rice dish flavor was good it’s just we had some very hard pieces of rice mixed in- not sure if it was because of being reheated too much or being a little stale.“

This place is the real deal.
You can feel the love in the details. Everything is prepared and cooked to perfection. Flavors burst in each bite. If you were not a lover of Tabbouleh, you might just find you will be now and most certainly this tiny gem of a spot. This place be on my regular restaurant rotation for sure! “Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We ordered so many incredible signature dishes. The lamb moussaka was 5 stars! To really test them we ordered one of the best lahmanchoun’s we’ve tasted in NY! Cozy atmosphere, attentive waitstaff, Momo JC definitely exceeded our expectations!“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. I got the ginger falafel bowl and it was packed with amazing flavours and everything was fresh and clearly home made. I’d say the falafel might be the best in the city. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and size.“

“I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“Have you walked past this place and thought about trying it? The smells, the look, and the staff all seem to invite you in but you haven't made up your mind yet? Well this is your formal invitation to take that step. The food is delicious, the burgers flavorful, the lamb soft with a hint of common Halal food cart notes but with a twist that raises it to another level of culinary experience.
Remember when it used to be a fried chicken spot? The new place has not been lost in terms of service and comfort food. Trust me. There's still a lot of fried tasty foods for those nights when you want to stay in with a movie and appetizers.
They have platters for dinner nights or lunch dates.
The hummus and lentil soup are some of my favorite lighter things to order.
I buy olive oil from them for my house.
I'm making this review because a lot of people ask me about this place. They're mainly skeptical to go in because it's still a friend chicken spot in their hearts but they're always curious to know how good the food from their new menu.
Hands down, no bs, it's amazing.
Same owner. Different menu. Trust me, go in and order something 😁 try their drinks, they have some fun looking bottles that are sooooo good 👍“

“I grabbed the Falafel Bowl from Naya - 39th & Broadway through MealPal and wow, it’s a flavor bomb! The creamy tahini and zesty spicy smoky red sauce kicked the fresh cabbage slaw and pickled cucumber up a notch. So savory and spiced perfectly—highly recommend!“

“The quality of the meat from the butcher in the back is outstanding—everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. I especially love their sujok, the spicy beef sausage. It’s perfectly seasoned with just the right kick, and you can usually find it in the freezer section, available in different levels of spiciness.
After the recent construction, the place looks fantastic. The new layout is clean, modern, and well-organized. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into enhancing both the food offerings and the overall atmosphere.
Don’t miss their manaeesh—they’re absolutely delicious. Whether you choose za’atar, cheese, or a mix, each one is baked fresh and bursting with flavor.“
