When I got home and opened both sandwiches immediately your hit with quality ingredients and the taste OMG! Both sandwiches hit the spot LITERALLY! “I run the Bayonne Chess Society & Club. The owner is a chess player. So are some of his employees. He told us he'd love to host our events and gatherings. So, we agreed on Tuesday evenings from 6 pm to 10 pm. We play all over Bayonne, as several places host us throughout the week.

We also get a discount off our food and purchases, if we order while we play. Considering how good the dishes I've tasted have been..not only can we play chess, but we get to eat and save some money...it's a win win.

I llllooovvveee their pasta..I've tried their different pastas, with vodka sauce and two meatballs. I pretty much get that every time we play. The bread that's served with it is soooo good. I've also had their sandwiches. Their large sandwiches are massive.

They have their back outdoor dining area available now. So, it's perfect for chilling out, eating, and playing chess. Our members love it. They always put on a pot of coffee for us. They're friendly, they have first rate service. My highest recommendation.

I love when the owner sometimes slips away to sit down and get a quick game now. Now, THAT'S a chess lover. He only recently started playing chess, but he's coming along nicely.

I asked him who did the landscaping for his outside area. He told me he ALSO owns a landscaping company. That's a man with a vision for success.

“Shortly after my husband and I ordered from this establishment we recieved a call informing us that one of the items in our order was unavailable. The staff went the extra mile to get the item from another dominoes location, and delivered our meal in less than an hour. That’s pretty awesome, and the people we spoke to were extremely sweet and professional.“

“I moved to Bayonne 12 years ago and I’ve walked past this restaurant so many times. So many other pizza restaurants come highly regarded so I never really gave La Guardiola a try. I do have a few “go to” spots in town for pizza and wings night. After recent disappointments with food quality, customer service, and bad delivery experiences, I was ready to try something new. We were really hungry so I searched for a close by restaurant with decent pizza and wings menu options and La Guardiola fit the bill. We ordered a Margherita Pizza with Plain Wings. The food arrived fast, fresh, and hot, so I was already happy. The pizza looked amazing and so did the wings. The wings were huge, crispy, and well seasoned. Hands down my new favorite wings in Bayonne. The pizza was good. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side where I like my sauce a bit more on the salty side but it was really tasty and the crust had a nice crisp to it. I am looking forward to trying other menu items in the future but La Guardiola is now my new “Go To” for pizza and wings night. So good!“

“Person next to me ordered pizza extra crispy, it was soggy and customer wasn't happy,,I ordered hamburger sliders to go with fries,,burger wasn't even cooked and no salt or ketchup for fries, a real disappointed“

“Not a pretty place but a typical run of the mill pizzeria. The workers are friendly enough. Parking is normally available. The pizza is pretty cheap based on local averages. Pizza is a hair thick and the cheese has a nice oil content so it often slides off the pizza when separating slices!

“Delicious pizza, fast service, and unbeatable prices. Pizza Masters is a humble neighborhood establishment serving up slices that can compete with the heavyweights - Scarrs, Joe’s, and Roberta’s. The pizza had a great char and aromatic sauce. Incredibly cheesy! The pepperoni rolls were a showstopper (and heart-stopper) — the acidity from the marinara perfectly cuts through the gooey, scalding mozzarella.

The Sicilian slice was not the best. Very doughy with powdery cheese — similar to Domino’s. Stick to the classic thin slices. The cheesecake was disappointing as well: sandy, gritty, and not very sweet or rich. It’s Pizza Masters, not Cheesecake Factory.

Two slices, two root beers, and a slice of cheesecake only came out to $13 total!“

“Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.“

“Hosted a birthday party for about 28 people including kids. The service staff was attentive and responsive to emails and to my calls when I had questions. Here are pictures. The food that we ordered from the party package #2 was terrific. We brought our sound bar to play music from my own playlist. There is an option to have music provided by the bar/restaurant if you want. I would return to host another party. Much recommended.“

“Excellent Eggplant Rollatini with angel hair pasta last night cooked just the way I asked for and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I am a customer for many years. I usually pick up but get delivery now and then. The lentil soup, Tuscan salad and pizza are my favorites! Other pizza places add pieces of topping that look like confetti. At Fontana you get nice size pieces of the mushrooms, onions, peppers, etc.“

“The people that work here are friendly & my husband & I received fast service.
We ordered cheese steaks which we both enjoyed.
We also ordered Shrimp Scampi to take out, which was tasty, but just a bit too much butter.
The bottom of the bag had card board in it& the container that the scampi was in was wrapped in plastic wrap & the paper bag & cardboard were soaked in butter/scampi sauce.
