“If you never ordered from here you’ll be pleasantly surprised, I usually order the plater with bbq sausage, ribs, chicken, plantains and sweets plantains it’s about $120 for a large that feeds easily 10-12 people, small $70 feeds 4-6, extremely fully of flavor, love that smoked meat, this is an absolute must try restaurant for everyone, take it to go, because you’re gonna want to eat the whole platter and you don’t want to be in public when making a pig of yourself, lol“

“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“

“We found this place on accident. We were looking for historic Stone Street after riding thr Staten Island Ferry and really needed some coffee, I couldn't be happier to stumble upon this wonderful Puerto Rico coffee shop.

The barista was very nice and informative about the kind of coffee they offered. I could also tell he was proud of the place that he worked and their coffee production success.

I ordered iced coffee in a rice bag! How fun and unique and the coffee was delicious! The shop was cute too - lots of photos opportunities. Loved this place and their coffee!“

“RHRooftop is spectacular. It's beautifully stunning; the views, the space, the design, the food and the service. Fantastic food - tasty and well-presented - although our entrees arrived before we were done with our appetizers. This did not happen to the tables immediately near us; we were all seated within ten minutes of each other. This would be my only real disappointment. The googled dress code is perhaps wishful thinking - and while discouraging of tank tops for men - seemingly not parallel for women. Tshirts definitely won the day on many men. And women were dressed quite smartly in comparison. Then there was the couple who thought they were in their living room .... Watching TV. A sign advising that there are more bathrooms one level down would probably be appreciated by the diners who are unfortunate enough to be seated by the amassed queue. Only two restrooms at the restaurant level will do that.“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“Subia’s is a cute vegan spot right off of Jersey Ave. I came here not knowing what I wanted for dinner. I chose Subia’s burger and was happy with my pick. Veggie burgers can be hit or miss in my experience but this one held its own. I thought the lack of fries with my burger would leave me hungry, so I ordered mac and cheese. While the mac and cheese was solid, I think the burger on its own would’ve left me full, it’s quite hefty. One of the owners was sitting at front to greet me. The service was great and I’m hoping to come back to try some of their breakfast options“

Being a divorced dad with a bitter ex is tuff. She gave me the okay then 2 days later after booking she said no and no more trips with my kids.
