“I ordered the shawarma sandwich and the lentil soup. Both were delivered fresh and piping. Given south Asian roots i can taste a food lentil soup and this hit the spot. The shawarma was nice with added veggies but taste wise was nice but nothing that would knock your socks off. The toum sauce is a great accompaniment with the shawarma and overall the meal is a nice to have if you haven't tried. The staff is courteous and considerate of their customer needs“

The Corsican breakfast was great and very different. Finally, the pancakes were great - the cinnamon was powerful, fresh. This was a great meal and I will make an excuse to come again!“

On the healthier side you can go unhealthy I recommend the pita chips with crazy feta (whipped feta, onions, and jalapeños) it has a tiny kick not hot at all. You can pick what they offer whatever is in the bowls they recommend but just choose what you want that's what I do.“

“We were very excited to try yet another of the Shulson Collective. Entering the space only made us more so, as it is spectacular. Execution was not up to the standards we are used to from this group. Does it really take 20 minutes to deliver a diet coke? The Mezzes and apps were very good (particularly like the beet spread). The kebabs were not. Lamb was excellent. Chicken was good, salmon was undercooked. We will, however try again. I will chalk the service up to newness and maybe the specific server.“

Sampled the weekend brunch menu, Moroccan eggs, crab benedict, French toast and the spinach quiche. All dishes were delicious. But, since I had never had Moroccan eggs before, was very excited about trying that and so enjoyed the spice combo. Also really enjoyed the Moroccan tea. Lovely neighborhood bistro. “The flavor is on point!! No denying that. But, if you want a better value for your $, then I'd recommend PITA CHIP... ESPECIALLY FOR THE LAMB!! Naya's lamp is a beef & lamb meatball, however Pita Chip you get actual cubes of Lamb. In a wrap, you also can get a variety of hummas and rice. Pita's wraps are bigger (more meat and as much toppings as you'd like. NAYA is great value for Bowls and the are heavy handed with Chicken portions“

“This place is a treasure!! I have food allergies, so I ordered the shawarma with the grilled vegetables— double veggie, no rice or salad. It was SOOOO good, and so much food. The meat was tender, veggie tasty and not overcooked. And the servers were so gracious and helpful. The meal would work for keto or high protein diets, or with rice for celiac.“

“The Bok building is a magical place, but go to the roof and eat at Irwins. The food, drink, and service was outstanding. The outdoor rooftop seating has a beautiful view of south Philly. Our reservation was outside. During our experience it did rain a bit, but it was worth staying. Our server was a trooper for keeping the patio goin. At night during a Phils/Eagles game you can hear the crowd roar. Electric.

The food and drink was great. There are Mezze, Pasta, Main Entree and Dessert options. I assume the menu is seasonal based on the ingredients, but I am unsure. There is a cocktail menu, wine offerings and full bar. I didnt have time to even take pictures of all the food and cocktails we were enjoying it soo much. We ordered about half the menu and will be returning to order the remaining items.

Dessert is worth it's own mention. At a lot of places, dessert is kinda a throwaway/pass. Not at Irwins. I told my wife we will also be coming back to Irwins solely for drinks and desserts next time we are eating somewhere else close by. We got the Milk and Honey Pistachio Gelato and an Almond Torta Cake that should be nominated for some kind of award.

I would recommend making a reservation. If the weather is nice, eat outside. Tell your spouse you are taking them to a Sicily Roof Jawn for dinner.“
