I got the sampler appetizer and the lamb chops with French fries instead of rice and a baklava desert... OMG i think i will dream about this food!!! I recommend u to font even secong guessed Go Now loll also very clean place... smells good you cab eat also there and font b afraid to get something u have never tried before because it would not disappoint u!!!

Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. “I came in this morning with my brother to get breakfast and decided to add a tiramisu to my order. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had! It was so delicious! The owners were so friendly & helpful!“

“I went here for the 1st time yesterday after hearing other people I know rave about it. I described it to my husband as “like Chipotle, but Mediterranean and way better!” I chose a mix of grains and greens as my base. For the grains, they let me get a little of 2 different ones (couscous and bulgur) and I chose kale & arugula for the greens. The 2 proteins I chose were chicken (tasted like seasoned and grilled thighs) and falafel (best I’ve had). There were SO many toppings to choose from, but I got shredded carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, white bean salad, a parsley quinoa salad, garlic hummus, baba ganoush, pickled beets and a spicy eggplant thing they said is a fan favorite (so good). I chose the spicy yogurt dressing on the side. Since it was my 1st time, they also put a little tzatziki on the side too and that was my fav. You can taste that it is fresh made in-house. I went home and ate half. Well, that didn’t last long! The clean and healthy ingredients just made it feel good to eat. The other half was just a half hour later! Highly recommend!!!“

Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. On the healthier side you can go unhealthy I recommend the pita chips with crazy feta (whipped feta, onions, and jalapeños) it has a tiny kick not hot at all. You can pick what they offer whatever is in the bowls they recommend but just choose what you want that's what I do.“

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. “When Dear Daphni first opened it used to be my favorite happy hour spot in Philly. I appreciated the emphasis on the middle eastern tradition of sharing food at the table. Everything is delicious and plentiful. I liked having an alternative to Laser Wolf that was not supporting Michael Solomonov, as I don’t approve of his business practices or values. It was nice to be able to have a good value drink and vegetarian meal.
This last visit we were informed that they now charge a la carte for everything with no refills. What was once the best deal in Philly now is the same as you’ll find at any overpriced restaurant. While the food is still amazing, it doesn’t stand out from the crowd now that they’ve strayed from those values. I understand the rising prices of food everywhere. But to go from free unlimited mezze, rice, and dessert with any entree right to an extra $36 with no refills was simply absurd. I think this could have been done in a way that at least eases you into price increases. Maybe have fewer mezze, even one mezze special. Maybe include free refills. Maybe charge a la carte per mezze. This change is going to leave many customers feeling blindsided and it breaks trust with regulars like me. I would still recommend the delicious food here, but it’s no longer a top restaurant in Philly for me. I am sad because I used to recommend this spot to everyone, now I am more hesitant. (As a side note they also got rid of my favorite mezze, the pistachio dip. double whammy…)
That being said, almost everything I have tried is so good. The hummus, muhammara, salmon kebab, eggplant, broccoli, ice cream, and all drinks are spectacular. The greek salad and filo saganaki left me less than impressed. I just think they need more vegetarian options for entrees now that you have to pay for the mezze.

“Good, fairly priced Israeli food place. The owner is very nice and shared the correct pronunciation of sabich to me once. The place is good for a quick meal and outing with fellow grad students bc they can take care of different diet preferences. I have taken almost all my friends here.

“Loved our brunch today. We stumbled on this place while visiting Philly. Was intrigued by all the Zagat stickers and went inside. Sampled the weekend brunch menu, Moroccan eggs, crab benedict, French toast and the spinach quiche. All dishes were delicious. But, since I had never had Moroccan eggs before, was very excited about trying that and so enjoyed the spice combo. Also really enjoyed the Moroccan tea. Lovely neighborhood bistro. “The flavor is on point!! No denying that. But, if you want a better value for your $, then I'd recommend PITA CHIP... ESPECIALLY FOR THE LAMB!! Naya's lamp is a beef & lamb meatball, however Pita Chip you get actual cubes of Lamb. In a wrap, you also can get a variety of hummas and rice. Pita's wraps are bigger (more meat and as much toppings as you'd like. NAYA is great value for Bowls and the are heavy handed with Chicken portions“

i’ve been here numerous times with different parties and i’ve always had a great experience. it’s also one of the few restaurants I can consistently get in with a last-minute reservation or walk-in while still feeling the place is lively and bumping every time I’m there. it’s a delicate balance and they nail it consistently. chef Michael’s food is excellent, bev director Michael has put together an awesome program and chef Ervis is such a handsome and gentle man who also happens to make great pastas. what a combo.

“Came in from Denver and was craving some great Italian. They did not disappoint! Service was excellent. Food was amazing! Clams Casino and Meatballs appetizer set a high bar for the rest of the meal, and they nailed it. Seafood ala Scannichios and the NY strip longjohn were hugely portioned and delicious. Others in our party had the Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm and a few others- and they raved about them. Tiramisu and Bananas Foster were sublime.
