“I ordered the shawarma sandwich and the lentil soup. Both were delivered fresh and piping. Given south Asian roots i can taste a food lentil soup and this hit the spot. The shawarma was nice with added veggies but taste wise was nice but nothing that would knock your socks off. The toum sauce is a great accompaniment with the shawarma and overall the meal is a nice to have if you haven't tried. The staff is courteous and considerate of their customer needs“

“I received a menu in the mail and decided to try one of their 'Box Lunch' specials for $11.99. I went with the No.3 which included any hot sub, fries or chips and a fountain drink. I got the veal parmigiana with fries. The veal was not veal cutlet, but veal patty, which to my surprise was actually very good. It was on a full size Italian roll with plenty of mozzarella cheese and tasty sauce. The fries were excellent. Cooked right and not at all greasy. The portions were more than adequate, especially for a 'special'. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I was overcharged. It was my first time there and that was not a good start. The associate did apologize and did refund the difference. The service was friendly and the place (including the restroom) was very clean.“

“Since Honey Grow opened where I work I've enjoyed having lunch again. It's food is fresh and good. Vivian is so great. She made sure my order was ready and correct & always has a great attitude. Puts the personal touch on everything. The food is so yummy. The atmosphere is great & the tunes they play are awesome. Good vibes and wonderful food what's not to love. Have become a regular I guess. Am glad with the variety of food and choices. The best is that you can custom your own order to ones own taste. So glad they opened near me. “We went to Haddonfield for lunch this week, and the restaurant we were intending to visit had closed outside of their normal hours. We ended up going to Umile, and it was a great surprise.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a residential building with an intimate seating area. The kitchen is right in the same room, so you can hear the orders being called out.

We started with the fried mozzarella and arancini. Both were excellent; the arancini had a great meat sauce, and the fried mozzarella featured sweet peppers in the sauce which was a wonderful touch.

For the entrees, we split a 12” “Bianca” pizza and the Wildfeather Paccheri Alla Vodka. The pizza was crisp with a good crust, and the fresh garlic was great. The paccheri was delicious, featuring a flavorful sauce with ribboned pepperoni, shallots, and chili flakes for a bit of a kick.

Overall, it was a wonderful meal. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Just note that they do not serve alcohol, but they do have a small drink selection.

The standard noodle options are all strong, and I’ll sometimes add double protein if I’m extra hungry. The seasonal specials are worth trying, too; the Chesapeake crab is a standout. They also have salads, yogurt options, and the brownie is delicious.

A big plus is the app, which is intuitive and helpful. The loyalty program actually pays off regularly, which I appreciate.

Eating like this?! It is so unprepossessing, with the feel, service, and pizza of a genuine neighborhood pizzeria in Testaccio. From the attention to fresh, local ingredients to the casual but elegant vibe of the place and the handmade, complimentary biscotti with the espresso... I honestly teared up a little. It's so hard to find a comfortably elegant place with a thoughtful, concise menu, reasonablly sized portions, and reasonable pricing. The seasonal caprese salad with the local peaches was an explosion of flavor because everything was local and seasonal and handmade and simple and perfect. It's a little piece of Testaccio in downtown Philly.

How delightful to find this in the first floor of what looks like a corporate office building.

“I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this experience was especially frustrating. I placed a Grubhub order for a small white pizza from Santucci’s — a specific request that means a lot to my family. My son has special needs and a restrictive eating disorder, and this white pizza from Santucci’s is one of the only foods he’ll actually eat. I timed the delivery to make sure it would arrive by dinner, and when I opened the box and saw a regular red sauce pizza instead, I was heartbroken. Mistakes happen — I get that. What made this worse was how it was handled when I called the restaurant. A young woman who answered the phone was kind and apologetic, and I appreciated that. But after holding for over six minutes, I was passed to someone who immediately accused me of placing the order wrong. I had already double-checked my Grubhub receipt before calling — the order was placed correctly. I even had a screenshot as proof. When I was passed to the manager, I expected a little more compassion and accountability. Instead, I was met with indifference and more blame. I offered to send a screenshot to show the order was right on my end, but the manager refused to look at it and stood by their claim that I was the one at fault. Ironically, the first woman I spoke with had mentioned it looked like a system issue on their end — which made the gaslighting from management all the more frustrating. To be clear, this wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. When your child has very limited safe foods, and you make an intentional effort to get the one thing they will eat — only to have it messed up and then be blamed for it — that’s a big deal. The mistake was frustrating. The lack of accountability and empathy? Even worse. I’m incredibly disappointed with how this was handled and hope Santucci’s reflects on how to better support customers, especially when mistakes are made“
