“After dropping off our daughter at school this morning the wife wanted to stop at a nice place for a quick bite that didn't have that quick bite feeling, we landed on the Main Street gem known as Cafe Vista. This cozy, delightfully sunny, positive energy vibe Cafe offers all day dining items, made to order, a very innovative beverage selection, sultry and sweet dessert delights and a classy/ calm music selection while you dine. I strongly recommend the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich on an Everything Bagel. Warm fluffy eggs , melted cheddar made with honey ham chunks overflowing on a toasted bagel. Also the mushroom spinach and mozzerella omelet paired with a delightful morning salad medley. For dessert we had the rasberry brownie and a cheese blueberry Danish. For beverages in old school (coffee light and sweet) which came in a elegantly styled oversized mug and the wife had the BLUE LAVENDER MATCHA TEA (highly recommended by us both). The presentation, flavor and overall vibe of our visit turned our quick bite into an over hour stay. We were very pleased and humbled to be served and attended to by Cafe Vista OWNER Balsayat, thank you for making our breakfast special this morning, it was great chatting with you, lovely tranquil, and serene establishment you have here.“

“Great location! Bigger than the Montvale location. Very busy on weekends though so be prepared to wait 20 mins on weekends. Went on a Sunday with my bf and it was pretty packed. Server was attentive and food was brought out relatively quickly. I had the breakfast tacos and they were excellent. Definitely will be back!“

“Really good local place. Met up with 2 friends for breakfast a week ago. We grew up in the area, use to visit Bennys 45 years ago when it was more of a convenience store. Today’s Bennys is really well done. Service was great, waitress was extremely nice, friendly throughout our time there. Food was spot on, omlettes, salad, and biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs over easy could not have been better. Prices a little steep, but that’s par for the course these days. Anyway, highly recommend“

The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

“I work in Montvale, NJ and I hear wonderful things about this place. During my lunch hour, I placed an order over the phone and spoke with Emily who was attentive, accommodating and was able to get my custom order perfect. Upon picking up, ammon greeted me quickly and confirmed my order right away. The vegetarian sandwich was amazing and Emily suggested I add the roasted peppers in lieu of the cromini mushrooms. “This place is a gem in a completely unique location in Northern Manhattan. Beautiful view of Inwood Hill Park and Spuyten Duyvil. Here is my advice: KEEP IT SIMPLE! Their coffee, lattes, and breakfast pastries are delicious. For dinner, have the farm burger medium rare - always perfectly grilled and the fries are great. Other options can be over-salted and over-priced, so stick with the basics and enjoy the view.“

“amazing neighbourhood diner restaurant! got the huevos divorciados and it was delicious. the salsa verde which flooded the plate had the rare, perfect amount of acidity. the fruit pancakes deluxe with sunny side up eggs and sausage were also equally perfect in each component, with a special shoutout to the sausage (crispy skin! piping hot!) and hotcakes that had all the comfort of a childhood homemade breakfast. the servers were kind and warm, and the environment is cosy without being cramped. absolutely absolutely will be returning in short order.“

Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter.
