“Last month I asked for recommendations for an Indian restaurant that had great vegan dishes. Clove Garden Garwood was highly recommended. I order 4 vegan dishes from their website tonight. I noted I was vegan online. I had also ordered Naan, (which I didn’t know contained dairy.) The owner took the time to call me and let me know it’s not vegan and made us Roti instead. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Rich, delicious, authentic … best meal I’ve ever had. And the employees were incredibly nice. Looking forward to trying the other vegan dishes next week!! “We stopped by for a quick bite a couple Saturdays ago. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible. Indian food can be heavy but not this place. The owner and employee were so nice. Even though they were closing he let us sit and eat in the dining area. We had the garbanzo bean rice bowl, chicken tikka wrap and a breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend!!!“

All cuisines were great and there are a lot (in Indian cuisine there are a variety of cuisines) you can try. The place itself looks a bit old and the tables can use a bit of work. I have eaten here since a few years and I assure you there is no change in the quality or the taste, I love how consistent they are. The most tasty and delicious dosa in the north east. Sambar is near perfection. Perfect pricing and portions.
