“My husband I went in to eat. Yes, it was busy. Our initial greeter seated us. We placed our drink and food orders and received our drinks. We received our drinks after 5 minutes of arrival. Unfortunately, we waited for another 30+ minutes only for our server to say "1 minute please". Needless to say, if we were served, this poor review would not have been necessary. I paid for our drinks and left disappointed and hungry. I have drinks at home, what we needed was to be fed and given service...shameful“

“This was first visit back to Tops since their rebbiuld/renovaation and I wasn't dissapointed, the food was fantastic the service was beyond above par, Robert our server was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend making reservations otherwise you will be waiting a long time for a table. In true transparency TOPS is expensive, TOPS is not your regular Jersey diner, this is upscale at it's best so if you go be prepared to spend some money. I advise you read your bill very carefully so there are not questions when it comes to gratuity, and be prepared to be charge for not using cash. My one critique is that it was drafty. I went in knowing it wasn't going to be cheap, was it worth the price, ABSOLUTELY!!! The food & the service was top notch......I will be going back again.“

“Generous amount of food. I ordered Turkey, which is one of the dishes I rate diners on. Compared to other diners, this is a bit above average. However, even with loads of gravy (they gave me a bowl full) and with a mild stuffing, I felt it was a little bland. Good for people on a low-salt diet? I needed to add a lot of pepper and some salt. I still would have liked a more savory taste. Nevertheless, the portion was big and the "side salad" was more like a mini salad entree. Take a look at the pictures. Wait staff was very nice. Lots of people there on a Sunday morning, so you may have to wait. Price is slightly high, but then everything is compared to a few years ago. BUT I'd rather pay more for this kind of quality. I will go back when I am in the area again.“

Chit Chat Diner is the perfect late-night spot, open 24 hours with an endless menu to satisfy all your cravings! We tried the quesadillas and the Sampler, and both were hits. The quesadillas were deliciously cheesy, and the Sampler was full of fun bites. The mozzarella sticks were piping hot and fresh, but the fries were a bit cold—just a tiny hiccup. The chicken tenders were juicy, and the sauces? A total game-changer! A real "star" quality with these "little dippers".

Was not impressed as the burger was well done and not by order of medium. The burger itself was not seasoned so a bit disappointing. Decided to have dessert and ordered a slice of plain cheesecake and it was delicious. I would recommend it highly. My wife ordered the chocolate cream pie which was also delicious.“

Happened again yesterday when we called in a pick up and 2 of the 3 items ordered were wrong and the wrong higher price was still charged. “My children and I were on a stop over in New Jersey recently, making our way back from a holiday in South Africa, when we needed breakfast as we tried to adjust to the time change. Central Restaurant was a little bit of a drive from our airport hotel (about 5 miles), but they were open at 6:00 am and the online menu showed promise. The restaurant is a neighborhood greasy spoon, with all the cast of characters you would expect of such a place. The owners are Greek transplants, the clientele is mostly the black neighbors who live nearby, a line up of police officers and construction workers waiting for to-go orders, and travelers like us who may or may not know what they are in for. I saw grits on the menu which told me everything I needed to know about this place. They did not disappoint. First thing - to the restroom. If it’s clean you know the kitchen will be in order also. It was tiny, but clean and smelled good. My son ordered the Denver omelet with grits, I ordered fish and grits, and my daughter ordered the French toast breakfast with a side of grits. The grits were on point - creamy with that pat of butter pooling on the top. The French toast was just the right amount of crunchy (on the edges) and tender with a tiny bit more cinnamon for enhanced flavor. The Denver omelet was well cooked with just a bit of browning on top, but a tender and medium soft interior. The fish was unexpected as it had a coating and it was fried. But, the exterior was crunchy with a flaky tender flesh interior. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but our orders were all A-plus calibre for a neighborhood greasy spoon. If you like this kind of atmosphere and breakfast food, don’t miss out if you happen to be in town!“

“My friend and I had great moments at Mauricio’s Restaurant (yes, we visited it twice). The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is incredible with a lot of good people. Staff and regular guests made us feel like home! Go for the Grilled Cheese with your favourite topping and just enjoy! Highly recommended 😌“

“Everything tasted amazing!!!!! the crab rangoons are so delicious and perfectly flavored, it is a treat every time i order them for an amazing price too!!! the sesame chicken had a great flavor and is not too sweet, the general tso chicken is perfectly spicy and tender. there are no little crumbly pieces as i would usually get at most take out!! the coke cans (diet) were nice and cold, and the veggie low mein noodles were perfectly dry and flavorful and HOMEMADE? (although the lettuce is weird sorry). the dumplings in chili oil taste super authentic and have a greattttt flavor. i loved everything here and i would order 10000 percent again. never change !! (besides the lettuce)

“My family always comes here for a quick bite whenever we get a chance to be together. We happened to go on Father’s Day and the owner surprised our table by taking care of the bill for us. The waitress had come to our table to let us know that owner likes to choose a family once a week as a giving back gesture and comps their bill and that our family was chosen. It was so sweet and we asked to meet him to thank him. He said he saw our daughter and said “the kids are our future” in Spanish. It was beautiful. Plus the food is always tasty and the waitress was very personable and polite and friendly throughout the dining experience. 🩷“
