“Just to start this review off, a word of advice...do not order pick up via Seamless from this diner. Every time I have done this, without exception, I have had to stand and wait as my order hasn't even been started yet - and I do arrive at designated pick up time. Interestingly if you order delivery it arrives in 15 mins:) That aside, this is hands down the best diner food I have encountered. It never fails to amaze me when I see the lines outside Gramercy Diner where the food is terrible when this place is so much better!! The food is exactly what you'd want it to be; we had a breakfast burrito and avocado toast with poached eggs which we perfectly cooked. Free refills on the coffee was brilliant too. We were there about 8:45 and were seated straight away, order was taken promptly and the food arrived without any real wait. Definitely recommend.“

“Had breakfast there twice. Once solo and the next time with my wife. Consecutive Tuesdays. Just there this morning, after the golf range at Chelsea Piers. It's a combination of Greek and Mexican specialties. I have sampled the eggs overeasy with corned beef and this time had three poached eggs with fresh tomato and feta, home fries and coffee. All wonderful. My wife had fried eggs with ham on top of grilled taco. She loved it. This is a top notch diner with excellent service.“

They handled our large group with such TLC— and we aren’t an easy group!! “I pass this restaurant most mornings going to work. Today since was early for work I went in to get breakfast (take out). Debra automatically spotted me in the crowded restaurant I let her know I wanted to Take my food to go. She got me a menu, came back took my order. Food didn’t take long. Whoever the lady was that took my payment was rude put my card on the counter with the slip for me to sign. She should have handed me my card. Debra made sure that I was aware my card was on the counter. She said put your card don’t forget about it. I would definitely go back for Debra’s world class service.“

“Abbie’s Diner is back and better than ever. They freshened up the interior with new tables, chairs and decor. This morning we had pancakes French toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Everything was delicious and the service is super friendly. A couple of cool things to note: their coffee is really good now, they have whole grain toast, and you can get blueberry pancake pancakes. If you haven’t been back since them reopening, recommend going soon!“
