“Toasted coconut was delicious, and the serving size was plenty for one scoop. The shop is cute, didn't realize there were vegan options, that's cool. Definitely stuffed my face and tried to eat the ice cream before it melted. Pup got a small vanilla cup and a photo shoot.“
“A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip. The Thai milk tea was the best I have ever had. I was offered a sample of the taro ice cream (not something I would have ordered on my own) and WOW. It might have been the best ice cream I have had. Needless to say I ordered one. Check it out, my entire family enjoyed their orders too. Absolutely worth the trip.“
“The flavors were terrific! I ended up having terrible diarrhea while enjoying the ice cream, but luckily I was in my car and was able to get home without anyone noticing. This was of no fault of Beenies Ice Cream or staff, I just have really bad lactose intolerance that I refuse to let control my life. I will be back!“
“Took a second to find this place, but glad we did. Met the owner who personally makes the ice cream from locally sourced ingredients and with no artifical flavoring. Great tasting and not overly sweet or heavy. Perfect balance of freshness and flavor. This place really is one of best icream spots around.“
“This place is adorable inside and the ice cream rolls are one of a kind! It's fun to watch the staff create these works of art. They really put in a lot of effort and it's appreciated. My kids were beside themselves. Can't wait to go again! ?“
“My daughter randomly wanted ice cream after gymnastics today so I searched for the nearest spot and Diane’s came up. WOW. The ice cream itself was SO well done. I give the cold brew coffee chip an A+.We’ll definitely put this place on our list of ice cream spots.“
“It's cool that DD (no, not the donut place, this place) has been around for many years and remains independent and hires local kids. All of these facts are worthy of praise. However, the ice cream is just average. I mean, if you are comparing it the grocery store weekly sale ice cream, sure, it's amazing. But for local ice cream parlor, real-deal ice cream, I think Scoops in Boonton is much better.“
“We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. The owner was accommodating and extremely friendly; she made sure to check on us several times during the meal. Highly recommend!“
“I feel compelled to comment on the one-star reviews regarding the accusations of racism, as I find it deeply unsettling. The criticism leveled against the staff, suggesting a lack of attention, strikes me as a misunderstanding, particularly in light of my personal experiences. My autistic son, who is an employee of Seven Scoops, often struggles with eye contact and can unintentionally say things that might be misinterpreted. The staff at Seven Scoops has been nothing short of remarkable in their interactions with my son. They have significantly boosted his self-esteem, patiently engaged with his frequent text messages, and consistently welcomed his presence and contributions. This level of support and acceptance is a testament to their character and dedication.I urge the authors of the negative reviews to reconsider their words and instead become aware of your surroundings before placing judgement on our children with special needs.“
“Had a craving for ice cream/gelato, which for me is rare because I don't have a sweet tooth and had been here once before and really enjoyed it. Went back last night and ordered the Ferrero Rocher flavor gelato and oh my gosh it was delicious. The quality is amazing and I will be back this week for more. I also wanted to mention that I don't review places very often so when I do, it is because it really stood out to me. The store is very clean and I highly recommend to everyone, no matter where you are coming from to get it.“
“I’ve got to say, the best FroYo place around. They have so many flavor options, and so many toppings. Their boba is pretty good. It’s your average boba. I have never tried one of their smoothies, or rolled ice cream. It’s such a popular place with the kids, and it’s also walking distance from the green! I highly recommend.“
“I stopped in here for coffee and just had to try a beignet. They smelled amazing, and the one I got was hot, soft, and not overly sweet, despite the glaze. Good stuff! The shop itself has a good amount of seating, and the employee was nice. I'd try more beignets if I wasn't trying to lose weight, LOL.“
“I went there recently and I got the Hot Fudge sundae, OMG, it was really delicious. It actually tasted like homemade soft serve ice cream that had a lot of chocolate flavoring to it. It’s definitely one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever been to in my life. I’ll definitely be going back there in the future. They even have different flavors of soft serve ice cream tree am, most places only have chocolate, twist and vanilla, but this place doesn’t just have that. I rated my sundae a 10/10“
“My sister ordered a birthday cake. She would do it again. Friendly staff. The cake was made as requested. My niece loved it. It was a layer of vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate crunchies, topped with a yummy chocolate syrup or hot fudge, topped with chocolate ice cream and a delicious frosting. It was sooo good. Thank you!“
“My recent visit to Mango Mango Dessert in Livingston was an absolute delight! After a hearty dinner at home, we couldn't resist the temptation for dessert, especially after hearing so much about their mango delights. The variety of mango-infused desserts, drinks, and cakes left us spoilt for choice. We indulged in their tantalizing mango creations and were not disappointed! The ambiance was cozy, and the service was good. We're already planning our next visit to try out more of their mouthwatering offerings. Highly recommended for all mango lovers out there! Check out some of the captures we took during our visit.“
“Most delicious ice cream ever. The owner, is such an upstanding guy. I could chat with him for hours. Staff are polite. A must go to ice cream play this summer.Kid-friendliness: Very much, take pictures with the cow outside.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp is how to get in.“
“What a great cookie!!We went around 8:45 pm on a Friday night and they were out of some of the more popular cookies, but the 2 that we got were amazing!!They also sell milk, which is such a great thing when you're eating cookies!!Can't wait to go back and to try some of the other cookies!!“
“This past weekend my husband & I tried this place for the first time through Too Good To Go. We were greeted by a friendly young lady & were asked if we had any allergy restrictions & received our order quickly. The cookies were so soft (even 2 days later)! Definitely would go back again!“
“YOU MUST GO HERE FOR DINNER!!!!!!! Not only is this the only place nearby serving East African food, it is so good that it is akin to food heaven! The staff are incredible! And for dessert you can get amazing homemade ice cream! So please please please do yourself a favor and try the Eritrean food! You will not be disappointed!“
“I recently went to Lake Hiawatha Dairy and had the most AMAZING experience!!! They have so many great tasting, homemade, fresh ice cream flavors to pick from with some being very unique! Blueberry Pie For The Win! They also have plenty of to-go cup sizes to pick from! The toppings selection is plentiful and delicious! The owner, Karen, and staff, Amy and Bianca, are so nice, helpful, and wonderful to talk to. Make sure to visit ASAP!!! You won't be disappointed!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!“
“Amazing guest service. Delicious, hot food cooked to order. Clean store. Great experience overall. Jeffrey runs the store very well. Would definitely be back if ever in the area again. We had the chicken fingers, fries, backyard bacon ranch burger and of course a blizzard! “
“Where:269 Hamburg Tpk, Riverdale, NJWhat:Skinless Sabrett HotdogsComments:No idea what he does differently, but these are dirty-water-dogs at their best - great fresh toppings, great guy working the kitchen. This is a perfect quick stop in Riverdale, NJ. He's also got a vintage potato carving machine that he uses to made fresh curly fries, a bit pricey at $4.75 for an order but worth it. I stop here every chance I get.“
“This ice cream shop is a GEM! The variety of flavors is so impressive and each is delicious. We have LOVED Lavender Sky, Pistachio Rose, dairy free Pistachio, Rainbow Cookie, Cheesecake and a Rocky Road. Yummie :)Such a cute little spot for a quick drop in. I don’t see myself returning to a big chain ice cream shop again, this little spot tops them all by far. Enjoy!!“
“Same great ice cream as Boonton, same owners, pricing, everything. This one is open later into the year (December vs November). So why does Boonton get the extra star? Most of all: indoors. Shorter wait, faster service, and you wait in a conditioned space to avoid summer heat and winter cold. Also, you get to see each of the flavors before you order. Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best. But the noise of Route 23 and nowhere to really sit and enjoy yourself - it gets to me. 5 star ice cream if you're taking out, but don't even think about eating in. Oh, and don't order Italian ice. My friend got lemon and it had a bunch of red bits in it and didn't taste like lemon. I'm biased on ice thanks to a certain lady in Elizabeth but thought I would pass on his words to you.“
“Randy’s Homemade Ice Cream is an amazing experience! Carefully crafted and unique flavors that are out of this world! You can’t leave with just one! So good! His Cookie Monster, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and Cannoli flavors are just some of my favorites. A must visit! ??“
“I grew up eating Carvel ice cream, as of yet I have not found an ice cream that compares to their soft serve and their delicious ice cream cakes...if you enjoy chocolate crunchies you will love the ice cream cakes which have vanilla on top crunchie layer in the middle and chocolate ice cream on the bottom. Plus every Wed. Is BOGO on soft serve ice cream sundaes!“
“This storefront location is home to many delicious flavors making it challenging to choose. The young staff works hard, is often perky but perhaps would profit from a bit more training. Staff scoops remains of one container onto the fresh one; the leftovers are unattractive and we try to avoid those flavors . Best coffee and chocolate around..glorious cherry vanilla.“
“Delicious homemade ice-cream! Great selection of flavors. Staff is welcoming and attentive, customer service is good. I am often visiting this place and like it so much! Prices are little bit high but it is worth it. Great location, highly recommended.“
“This is one of the best ice cream in the area. I went today though and was a little unhappy for the girl helping me out was a little rude also I asked for cones and she put them in a cup and chucked them really hard into the bag (while the other girl was filling my bag) like veryyy unnecessarily hard. Also I understand why they wear gloves but if they touch money/cards with the gloves they have on then touch your cone that you are going to eat then wearing gloves are kind of pointless.. but once again the ice cream is delicious (especially the caramel pretzel)“
“Under new ownership, this shop is amazing! The ice cream selection is great and so are the toppings. Name brand toppings, not the gross knock offs. As well as soft serve, ice cream sandwiches and also they have cakes coming soon. This is my favorite ice cream place, glad we have such a good one right around the corner from us!And they're open year round! Love ice cream even in the winter!“
“Very good! I got a small cone of the pistachio gelato. It was pricy but the portion was respectable and the flavor was great.I am not picky about pistachio flavor - I love cheap artificial pistachio flavor just as much as authentic pistachio flavor. But I have to give credit, this was proper pistachio. I also liked that the pistachio pieces were small. I prefer small pieces to whole pistachios.I am looking forward to going back and trying other flavors!“
“Who doesn't love a good hot dog? This former Stewart's location in Denville, now known as Denville Dog & Grill, brings back some welcome nostalgia with its outside ordering, outside tables, and delicious hot dogs! I ordered one dog with onions and sauerkraut, and the other a chill cheese dog. The chili cheese dog was the better choice...delicious and the chili had a real kick to it. To top it off, they still serve Stewart's root beer! It was a beautiful day so it was fun sitting outside. Service was very friendly. Big parking lot. Fun choice!“
“It's an adorable little spot to get ice cream. Good selection of items and great flavors. Also fun little fact is in the winter, they trun into The Soup Coop.Do note there is no publicly accessible interior. It's only a walk up window.Just a nice spot all around.“
“Stopped by today my first time and i must say EVERYTHING was amazing the food, ice cream & the service was top notch we had her home made chicken rice soup ,Italian combo and chicken salad sandwich made by Song she took such good care of us through her busy shift and made us feel so welcomed ! Her cakes are unbelievable she is so gifted ?❤️“
“Rita's fan for many years. Unfortunately the few around us closed down. Glad we found this one which is a few minutes away from our son's school. We almost always get the mango gelati (mango water ice with soft serve custard. They taste the same no matter which one you go to. The custard is very rich and smooth and it may not sound like a good combo but it's great when combined with mango ice. It also became our 4 year old's favorite dessert. He actually doesn't care much about ice cream but he likes Rita's. Staff is always nice. They have benches in front of the parking spot which is pretty smart.“
“I love Guerriero everyone that lives in Caldwell has been there. It's impossible to walk in without knowing someone!! Fan favorite all the way. Plus, anyone that is in to Geocaching there is a cache right in the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a place meant for kids (and parents too)!“
“Nice clean shop with a friendly staff. Terrific soft serve and a wide variety of options. Their ice cream cakes are fresh and delicious, and are offered in a good selection of sizes and styles. You can buy cups of extra crunchies, and as any crunchies aficionado knows, Carvel has the best. Speaking of which, Carvel offers a Crazy for Crunchies Cake that is fantastic. Just be sure to order that (and any custom cakes) at least two days in advance. Buy One - Get One Free Sundays on Wednesdays.“
“We always have a good experience here. We really don't have any other local ice cream spots and if we have to have only Haagen Dazs we will take it! They have lots of flavors and the store is always kept clean. I do wish they sold soft serve but their ice cream is great so I don't mind too much“
“I have been here with couple of friends recently, good place for having a diy ice cream , great options and toppings. The place is cozy and have ample amount of seating for people with outside seating as well. The service is good and people are welcoming. Would recommend.“
“I love ice cream and believe me have gone to many places but Curly’s is one of the best. They have cannoli which is one of my favorites, and even use chocolate dip on part of my cone which makes for a blissful sloppy mess. lol They are really generous which is rare these days.“
