“We had 3 sets of 3 scoops. 3 different people with 3 very different tastes in ice cream. 9 different flavors. They were all wonderful and exciting. This is not your ordinary ice cream shop but please do not let that deter you from trying them out. Just expect to be a bit adventurous and go for it. They are a small batch artisan style shop with many unique flavors to try. We also grabbed 4 pints of other flavors to take home and try. The owner was awesome, explained all of the flavors and offered samples. The inside was very cute with a good amount of seating for an ice cream shop. Please go and try them out because this is the type of place that would be truly missed by anyone that has visited.“

“Fresh Tiki bar is, by far, the BEST ice cream shop around town! The facility is always “fresh” and clean and the owners are warm and welcoming! The decor is top notch-when you walk into the door you immediately feel like you are on a tropical vacation! “The most flavorful hard ice cream! The Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle? ::chef's kiss:: We mixed it with the cappuccino (great coffee flavor!) and my non-sweet-eating husband ate his half. The kids had a handful of very colorful chocolate dipped waffle cones to choose from and enjoyed their delicious colorbomb on the bench outside. They got the crazy vanilla (because rainbows are fun to eat!) and it was not only pretty but also had a really nice vanilla flavor. We'll definitely be going out of our way for this stop again! “I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“Ice cream - both hard & soft-serve, ice pops, and other frozen treats with all the trimmings and toppings. They also have an eclectic mix of candies and toys, plus a few trinkets and gift items. Prices are comparably reasonable. Located right on Hamilton Street with plenty of on site parking. The service is outside (thru windows), so they're not always open on the colder days. But it's a great place to hang out on one of the benches when the sun is warm. It feels good supporting local business, too.“

“I was happy to discover KOKO LOKO when searching for an alternative to the downtown cafés in New Brunswick. The pistachio latte is delicious- it’s smooth but still flavorful and has crushed pistachios mixed in. And for a good-sized latte with plant milk, the price was affordable. I loved chatting with the barista, too. The place has a laid-back and quiet but still creative vibe, plenty of outlets and plants! It would be great to linger and write or craft there on a cooler day.“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“An old fashioned ice cream spot with tables to sit at and enjoy a nice treat. They have an excellent small vanilla shake and they don't skimp on the whipped cream. It costs about $5 and the sizing is more equivalent to a medium. All of the ice cream tastes fresh. Although prices are higher than we are used to, the quality is worth the cost. They have parking on each side and if you want to sit and rest on a bench near a tree nearby they have that option. They could benefit from some nice planters in the front. “The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

“You’ll find flavors you didn’t know existed and your tastebuds will thank you. The ice cream is egg-free, GMO-free, and without preservatives. These are not words that I associate with ice cream. But I can’t deny that the end result was surprisingly good.

There are cakes for sale and take-out pints/gallons of ice cream in addition to cones/cups. Decent prices for decent decadence. Parking is adequate, and be on the lookout for pedestrians.

The staff was pleasant and helpful with our large group. A group can sample up to 5 flavors. The store is minimalistic, but it serves its purpose.“

Parking: Parking is a bit tough as it is on a very busy street. If you go around the block towards supremo supermarket you’ll be able to find a wider variety of parking.“

“I went to Rita's in Warren NJ May 29 2025. There was a group of about 12 people that had just been served and they all were enjoying their treats! The 2 young ladies that were working (it was around 7 pm)were so helpful and sweet to me after serving so many people. I live in Virginia so I don't visit one except when I go there. I will certainly return!!“

Response after speaking with the owner:
I received a phone call from the New Owners and the gentleman was very nice and apologetic. I have returned to the store and so far so good. Christian especially has gone beyond what I consider excellent customer service. This young man I see nothing but success in which ever career he chooses in his life. The owners are very fortunate to have an employee like Christian. He definitely is management material. I give the owners and especially Christian 6 stars along with some of the new employees.

I wish I was able to leave a review without having to press 1 star. I have spent a nice amount of money at this store including leaving decent tips. I have done nothing but give good advice to young kids that either it's their first job or never worked in the food industry. Asking an employee to wipe the ice cream container or please fill the triple pint up all the way since it's so expensive $21 plus including extra toppings. Tonight and this past weekend again I did not get what i ordered through door dash. So I had enough and i called the store to voice my complaint, Instead I am accused of harassing employees by Avery the young manager. Talk about bad customer service especially from the Manager. He did nothing but defend himself along with the young kids that work there. All I asked for is to give me what I paid for and I would bring the container in to show him the next day. Avery swore the order was correct and that his employees get nothing but complaints about me harassing the employees. This is new to me. Asking the employee to fill the container up and please just wipe the outside of the container before putting it in a bag that's harassment when the employees should know better. Many times I have been kind and tipped well. It's definitely hurtful to be accused of harassment. I would like a phone call from the manager which I requested Avery to have him call me. So let's see if Avery gives the owner the message. If not he lost a good customer. And to the owner I suggest u have random friends and family members randomly go place some orders and see how your employees interact with the customers and handle the product you sell. You may think differently and see for yourself.“

“Just stopped in at Land Mark Tavern for a weeknight pizza. By no means is this eloquent Tavern just a pizza place. We did have an amazing pizza, great salad and some of the best East Coast oysters of the season. The menu was outstanding. The atmosphere first class the drinks done perfectly. The replacement cake was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly nice. I can't thank them enough because this cake was so important to me.“
