We tried the Toasted Coconut and Almond Coconut flavors, and both were rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The staff was very kind, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. “I was here today with my girlfriend and I felt like I needed to leave a review. There’s pros and cons to this place but not enough cons to give it anything lower than 5 stars. The ice cream was outstanding! Most ice cream places especially in extreme heat like today (102 degrees) will give you ice cream that is melting before you even start eating! However the hard ice cream we got was hard like it should be and didn't feel like I was eating soup or drinking a thin milkshake. The owner suggested a brownie after we debated getting it or not and she definitely wasn’t just trying to sell it just to make extra money. That was by far the best brownie I’ve ever had and it stayed warm throughout the duration of my ice cream. I can’t wait to be back! As for the cons I just wish they were opened more than 2 days out of the week and we were able to sample a flavor or two before we decide on what we want. I was more than satisfied with the flavors I got but not being able to sample was a downside for me. All and all I would suggest this place to just about anyone! Hopefully they’re around for when I get married.“

“Causeway Ice Cream is still one of the best things about South River! Before my visit I saw their post about the World Cup special flavors and I knew that I needed to try them!! I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The barbacoa tacos were incredible—super tender, flavorful, and packed with just the right amount of spice. You can tell the meat was slow-cooked with care. The tortillas were fresh and warm, and everything was topped off with fresh cilantro and onions, just how I like it.
