“Do you really live in a small east coast or Midwest town if you’re not eagerly awaiting the seasonal opening of the local ice cream shop? Closer to Edison than HP proper, this no-frills ice cream shop in a barn-shaped building serves up some excellent ice cream. They offer everything from soft serve to dole whip.

Some notes for when you go. There’s a limited amount of parking spaces, a small amount of picnic benches for seating, they only take cash, and there’s always a line. It goes pretty quickly though! I highly recommend walking there if you can!

“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“Had ice cream pie dessert at LouCas, Edison, NJ years ago. Was excellent and asked if they made it in house and they gave me Piece of Cake Frozen Specialties card. Since then a huge fan. Have purchased the Sampler Pie as well as many gourmet novelties. Each one is better than the next. My friends have all become customers as well after having it at my house. At my last visit The owner Jim took care of me. N(e had me sample a new product. Vanilla with only a few ingredients with no additives. Delicious. Bought a pint for my husband who loved it. I have gone dairy free the last few months and will go back to try his vegan ice cream. Everyone has to become a customer!“

“I visited this cafe on Wednesday, and I was blown away by both the delicious crepes and the phenomenal customer service. It was my first time there, and I can confidently say that I'll be returning. “I recently visited Koko Loko cafe in New Brunswick and had the pleasure of trying their Pistachio Latte and Caramel Latte. While both drinks were enjoyable, the Pistachio Latte truly stole the show.

The Pistachio Latte was perfectly balanced, with a rich, nutty flavor that wasn’t overly sweet but still indulgent. It had a creamy texture that complemented the espresso beautifully, making every sip an absolute delight. It’s one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more even after the last drop.

The Caramel Latte was good as well, with a classic sweetness and smooth finish, but it didn’t quite compare to the unique and standout flavor of the Pistachio Latte. If you’re deciding between the two, I’d highly recommend going for the pistachio—it’s a game changer!

The ambiance of the shop was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu, but the Pistachio Latte is already a favorite.

The staff was really friendly and helpful in navigating all the flavor choices. Your group can sample up to 5 flavors.

“Been going to Ralf’s for years since original location in Staten Island great family I know them well as for this rt 34 location product still is the same excellent but for what you get according to size you order seems to be skimpy or a bit shy depending who’s filling your cup ,for the price you pay you should feel like you’re getting your moneys worth but that’s not the feeling you get your order the cup should be filled no matter the size“

For toppings, I got wet walnuts, which were very delicious, and oreo pieces. There used to be vegan cookie dough bites that I really enjoyed, but I didn't see them this time (there were cookie dough bites, but not labeled as vegan). “When i went here to Dunkin Donuts (Or Baskins Robbins as Google calls it) was pretty simple and straightforward. I came here and placed an order for a donut while in the drive thru and after a short wait, i got my donut which was pretty sweet.They also did a renovation to their store a short while ago which looks pretty nice to hats off to them.“

Parking: Parking is a bit tough as it is on a very busy street. If you go around the block towards supremo supermarket you’ll be able to find a wider variety of parking.“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“
