From the second you walk up, he’s friendly in a way that doesn’t feel forced or fake—he actually seems like he enjoys being there and talking to customers. “Causeway Ice Cream is still one of the best things about South River! Before my visit I saw their post about the World Cup special flavors and I knew that I needed to try them!! The same delicious ice cream I grew up eating and the flavor instantly brings you back to your childhood!! The Portuguese seradura and the Brazilian brigadeiro were absolutely out of this world!! I only wish I could've brought some of it back to Texas! Definitely a stop worth making time for!!“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“
