“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“I visited this cafe on Wednesday, and I was blown away by both the delicious crepes and the phenomenal customer service. It was my first time there, and I can confidently say that I'll be returning. The staff that day made the experience truly enjoyable and welcoming, the food was definitely top notch. “I recently visited Koko Loko cafe in New Brunswick and had the pleasure of trying their Pistachio Latte and Caramel Latte. While both drinks were enjoyable, the Pistachio Latte truly stole the show.

The Pistachio Latte was perfectly balanced, with a rich, nutty flavor that wasn’t overly sweet but still indulgent. It had a creamy texture that complemented the espresso beautifully, making every sip an absolute delight. It’s one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more even after the last drop.

The Caramel Latte was good as well, with a classic sweetness and smooth finish, but it didn’t quite compare to the unique and standout flavor of the Pistachio Latte. If you’re deciding between the two, I’d highly recommend going for the pistachio—it’s a game changer!

The ambiance of the shop was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu, but the Pistachio Latte is already a favorite.

Prices are comparably reasonable. Located right on Hamilton Street with plenty of on site parking. The service is outside (thru windows), so they're not always open on the colder days. But it's a great place to hang out on one of the benches when the sun is warm. It feels good supporting local business, too.“

“This was my first time having a mochinut and it was absolutely delightful!!! Their taro mochinut has been my favorite flavor so far. The texture is sooo good. It's both chewy like mochi and doughy like a donut, the perfect mixture of both! Not too heavy and not too sweet. And their variety of flavors is amazing and unique! “Went here on a whim and really enjoyed it. They have a bunch of unique and tasty flavors. I saw cakes for sale, and they sell take-out pints/gallons of ice cream in addition to cones/cups.

The staff was really friendly and helpful in navigating all the flavor choices. Your group can sample up to 5 flavors.

Eight of us agreed this was a great choice and a delicious dessert option.

For toppings, I got wet walnuts, which were very delicious, and oreo pieces. There used to be vegan cookie dough bites that I really enjoyed, but I didn't see them this time (there were cookie dough bites, but not labeled as vegan). I would like some more vegan flavors and toppings to make this place even better.“

Tortoni in restaurants, ice cream sammiches from the corner store, tubs of Häagen-Dazs from the supermarket, Brooklyn street corner treats like pirágua and coquito, italian ices at pizzerias, etc. Like grandpa always said: if it's cold and sweet, I'm ready to eat...okay, I'm lying, he never said that. I just made it up... but it's a credo to live by. Anyway, love ice cream but frozen custard (made with eggs) is better. Love Italian ice but homemade ice with stuff in it is better. Rita's has THE BEST Italian Ice and THE SECOND BEST frozen custard (after that banana custard place in Coney Island. Enjoy both with a "Gelati" as they call it. Mine was black cherry ice and vanilla custard. Amazing.“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“
