“Went with my family, chicken was very dry, order Giro, meat was so lemon induced, all the food only think you tasted was lemon. Horrible, if that is what you like this is the place for you. But my wife has celiac so the gluten free food works perfectly for her. That is the only positive thing“

“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.“

“Boy, are we glad we added this special stop to our road trip from the Boston, MA area because they sell gluten-free bagels... and they're delicious...plain or with everything (poppy, sesame, garlic etc.) They even have packaged gluten-free snack items! “For dinner we when to RUMI and it was amazing! Appetizers absolutely delicious all our dinners were delicious fresh hot completely satisfied . And then we had complementary Turkish tea and we all had desserts which were absolutely delicious someone with a sweet tooth would love. “This is a cool Georgian restaurant in Newark, NJ. I stopped by randomly after shopping for an event. I tried Adjaruli Khachapuri for the first time in my life. It was pretty interesting in how it was prepared but it was tasty. I also had the creamy garlic chicken and some wine. Great for a solo lunch date or just because.“

“The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“Kebab House was a great experience overall! The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we came in. My friend and I weren’t completely sure what to order, and they took the time to help us understand the different options and pick something we’d enjoy.

I’m honestly not even sure exactly what dish I ended up getting, but whatever it was, it was delicious! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying, and I’d definitely be interested in coming back to try more of the menu.

The friendly service really stood out and made the experience even better. It’s always nice going somewhere where the staff is willing to help you out, especially when you’re unfamiliar with some of the dishes.

From the wait staff to the kitchen staff to management, everyone was incredibly friendly, unbelievably accommodating when it came to food allergies (they came out to talk about everything in specific detail to make sure it was safe before it was cooked and served), and the food was absolutely delicious!! I would absolutely recommend trying Marakesh out if you haven't been. They will be more than happy to go over the menu and explain anything you might not recognize or need changed because of restrictions. You can also call ahead so it can be prepped ahead of time for you. I will definitely be back again!!“
