“I absolutely love this place. The food is good, once you figure out what you want from so so many choices. And the desserts, wow, hopefully it's your cheat day, between the toppings for the waffles or funnel cakes, ice cream, water ice. And the best part is it's very affordable. Eat inside or outside. “Pasta making class Olivia was excellent. She understands the regions of Italy and was able to prep and explain with ease and grace. A participant asked about cacio e pepe, which was not on the agenda, and Olivia quickly prepared the basic but difficult to nail sauce. It was spot on. Would def recommend HBB to friends and family. One suggestion though - supplying guests with aprons would be helpful!“

“Really nice small local ice cream shop with about 12 flavors to choose from. The ice cream is flavorful and creamy and the price is fair for the amount you get. Limited seating inside and unfortunately no seating outside, probably because of the neighborhood.

“While the prices are high and the lines are long, it is worth it. The flavors were rich, the texture was dence and the portions were large. Particularly the sour cherry was my favorite by far. The contrast of sour and sweet worked really well. The waffles cone added a great texture and they can even make it vegan too.

The staff was super friendly and had tones of energy which is more than I could say for myself if I was taking care of so many people all fay long. The line when we went wasn't too bad since it was late on a weekday.“

We also tried a peanut butter cookie skillet with the salted caramel ice cream and that combination was an absolute Star ⭐️ The cookies are freshly baked to order, Highly recommend! “I dont have a lot of experience with dairy queen but ive been to this one a few times and always have had a good experience.This time i went in for my birthday blizzard and the app was being stupid and not giving me the correct coupon code. We had Lilly making our blizzards and she was very patient while i wrestled with the app and helped me be able to get my birthday blizzard.Thanks Lilly! “Yesterday was my first visit there. First, there was a sign indicating an invitation to use their back patio. I didn't know which way to access the patio so naturally I walked around to the other (wrong) side of the building searching for the back patio. I was met by two locked doors. I then walked down the path then around the front of the store and then I went in the other direction.... kept going... looking for the patio and found it in the back of the building where I placed my order. I was disappointed that there was no sugar-free ice cream but they had a vast array of cones. Then, I had to walk to another window to pick up my ice cream cone. The ice cream was really, really good though the prices were steep yet they asked for a tip in addition to the steep prices. Even with that, however, I will return. I was impressed that they were open in the middle of a rainy, cloudy Sunday afternoon. Their serving the ice cream cone in a little container was a cute addition.“

“My family and I LOVE CHERRY'S! We live about 30 minutes away but travel there for tasty treats. We love the dole whips, water ice, all things ice cream, even their pizza and pretzels are amazing. We've gone for their events and my kids and I have had the best time, great customer service and it's so clean. Cherry’s is always a family favorite!“

I have tried water ice, hand dipped ice cream, soft serve ice cream, pretzels, hot sausage.

The ice cream and water ice are served cold, its not melting all over the place when you get it, the pretzels were warm and soft , the hot sausages were very good!

Sometimes there is a line at the windows, it moves quickly!

“This is a review mostly for the Popalong Truck run by Weckerly's, although because my husband and I love the scoop shops so much, that's the main reason we booked the truck for our wedding!

One of our most favorite things in the world is ice cream, and so we knew we wanted to reach out to Weckerly's for their Popalong truck option.

They absolutely delivered.

They were great with communication, pricing, and helping us determine what package would be the best for us.

Our guests could not stop talking about the ice cream and popsicles, and some even got seconds and thirds!!

They were right on time for when they should arrive at the venue, and the staff member working the event was incredibly friendly.

They were prompt with our emailed questions and very professional and kind. We were super happy with our package options and flavor options, and nothing was last minute with them; they reached out well in advance with when we needed to make these decisions, and were seamless to work with.

So happy that they could be a part of our big day and we'd recommend the Popalong truck to anyone looking to have a fun and unique dessert option for their wedding day as well!“

“Lina’s is an old school very friendly water ice place. It’s been around for very many years, and I love going down there to stock up on water rice. I had the Geletej and my grandkids had various types of water ice but honestly, I think they fell in love with the mango.
I’m a chocolate water, ice vanilla custard type myself, and Lena‘s hits the spot

Parking: Lina’s situated on a corner lot and there’s plenty of parking for about 10 cars
Most of the business is takeout, but there is a bench there if you want to sit for a bit while you freeze your brain .
I sat on the bench with my grandkids until they urge me to get going, grandpa .

Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is gravel, but it’s flat and if you’re handicapped, you can wheel out and get to the counter, which is low. The staff is really helpful so they could probably even walk it out to your car if you have a problem getting out.“

It is a bit pricey, but the ice cream is very high quality and many of the flavors are unique, so it is worth it. My favorite flavors are darkest chocolate and rainbow buttermilk frozen yogurt, both of which pair very well together!“

We have visited so many times this summer and we're never disappointed. They are one of the only places to offer non-dairy options which is perfect for my son who has an allergy.
