“Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....“

“Literally one of my favorites in Philly, Bistro Southeast never disappoints! I have eaten here too many times to not have written a review yet. The food is always flavorful, fresh, and hot. What I like most is that it is always consistent and the portions are sizable. The crab fried rice is my favorite item on their menu but everything I’ve tried has been amazing. The wings are crispy and well seasoned, the salads are refreshing and feeling, the mango sticky rice is the perfect balance of sweet and savory…I’ve tried other dishes as well, just too many to list haha! In addition to the food, the service is great. The staff is always so friendly, they play apart in how frequently I eat there as well. I don’t have any pictures of my food because when I remember to take them my food is already half gone.“

“Wow... The food is exceptional! THE REAL DEAL. From rolls to rice, noodles and the Banh Mi.. yes please 😋
The staff were so friendly and fun! I want to be their niece 😭 loved them. Truc was the sweetest and I'm his favorite so don't even try it 😆
Portions are large but i'm low key sad that I'm full bc I wanted more. 💗💗💗“

“Came here with a friend for lunch and the food was both VERY reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. I got a mango-jackfruit smoothie and tried some of my friend's lemongrass tofu - both were fantastic. Will absolutely come back if I'm in Philly again!“

“It’s a cute cafe. Banh Mi is good . Love how they use seeded bread. I like the blended espresso and my daughter likes the cookies & cream.😋 The catering food was delicious . My guests liked the shrimp tapioca wrapped in banana leaves. Spring rolls was very stuffed with lots of meat . Highly recommend this place!“

“Stumbled upon an authentic Vietnamese hole-in-the-wall gem! Their pho and bún bò Huế are the real deal—rich, flavorful, and made just right. Washed it down with a perfectly bold Vietnamese coffee. Pure comfort in every sip and bite. Cash only and plenty of time parking. Use the lot that is near by as it is free for 2 hours. They also have a restroom.“

“Have eaten for Bo Ne a great deal. Love the food and have lived in Vietnam and food is very much on par with the actual Vietnamese Restaurants in Ho Cho Minh City and Hanoi. Can not say anything bad for the place. Have frequented since first opened and the original owners.“

“My favorite Vietnamese restaurant currently because there are so many good options here. Bún bò is a must try. It smells really good and the broth is very well-seasoned. The taste is very different from the bbh at other places. Another must try is bún mắm. Although they only have cabbage and lettuce and not the typical veggie that comes with bún mắm, it is still very good. You get roasted pork, fish, shrimp, and squid. Mì vịt tiềm and hủ tiếu khô are also delicious. The meat in bún chả is tender and well seasoned, but the noodle is not that good, a bit overcooked. Also the bowl is really small so it is hard to eat. Although it is called phở cyclo, but phở here is meh. The wait time can sometimes be long and it's a pretty small place.“

“Amazing little family owned spot in Kensington that’s underrated and under the radar! This to me is the spirit of Philadelphia, punching above its weight and still crushing nonetheless. We had the Bun Canh and the Bun Bo Hue (highly recommended by Frankie from nearby Caphe Roasters). Both had deep, nuanced flavors in their respective broths, and bouncy, fresh noodles. We will be back to try other items on the menu. Heartily recommended!“

“The food here is amazing. My fiancée considers this the best Bun Bo Huey she has ever had. After discovering it in the way to DC we made sure to stop by on our way back to Connecticut and get Lunch as well as some to go. We plan to visit again in a few weeks when we make our move to DC.“

“We had Mi ‘N Tea cater our Labor Day party and the food was so good! It was a blast to have a variety of boba teas to choose from and the bahn mis were incredible. There wasn’t anything left over at the end of the party because everyone kept asking to take some home for later! They were also great about accommodating for our friends’ various food restrictions. We will definitely be using them for catering again.“

“Went here for a date night before the ballet. The food was excellent: our waitress Hannah suggested the scallop appetizer (with bread to soak up the sauce afterwards!) and the tiger prawn entree, so we got those and the shrimp pancake cups. She was right! Those meals were fantastic. Eating here was a real treat. Great food, great drinks, great service. We'll be back. Thanks Hannah!“

“Let’s start with the Banh Beo Chen! It’s a small-steamed rice cake topped with mushroom/grounded pork sauce. It came steaming hot and super delicious! Add a bit of fish sauce and hot chili and it will be the best thing you ever try!
The Mi Quang was also full of flavor. It’ll the mid-Viet style that is being transpire into their recipe. It reminds me of the true Miền Trung style food that you get from home.
The store was super clean and there is a wide variety of drinks as well. Their food menu is small but it focuses on the Mid region of Vietnam. We’ll be back to try more!“

“First time here (2/22/25) and it was great. I had beef Pho and my wife had shrimp and chicken fried rice. Both were fantastic. Her fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I’ll def be back for that. The pho broth was great. The only thing different here than other places I’ve had Pho was that they didn’t give me mint with the jalapeño and bean sprouts. The service was a little slow as they were pretty busy but the owner was very apologetic. Almost too much but it was greatly appreciated because normally you don’t get that type of treatment. Even though the food came out slow he was top notch with keeping my water filled which is my primary must when it comes to restaurant service. And although it was just him working the front of the house he was serving everybody so attentively. And I think his wife was the only person in the back of the house. They did a wonderful job. Also that gave s a small salad that was quite tasty. I don’t know what kind of dressing it was but it was pretty darn good. Oh and we had the veggie spring rolls and chicken kabobs, both also good.“

“Everything from the bahn mi to the wings are absolutely amazing, the workers at the shop are always delightful, especially the owner Lynh and her family that will sometimes her run the counter. We go out of our way regularly to come and see them, especially when their truck is set up at the Wissahickon Brewery! Keep in mind their business is small and family run so if they are out of what you might have been looking at, just pick something else! You’ll absolutely love whatever you get!“

“seems like a family owned restaurant! I’ve never had chicken pho before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the broth was fairly similar to beef pho but cleaner. Their pho bowls are one size only, but it is very large. We got two bowls of plain pho with 1/2 chicken the first time we went, and our total was about $40-$50. 1/2 chicken was definitely a lot for two people, so we ended up getting 1/4 chicken today (total of $27) and it was the perfect portion. They serve cold tea, which was very nice and refreshing. Parking is difficult to find on weekends, but the lot is generally empty on weekdays.“

“Nam Phuong is definitely a go too for traditional Vietnamese comfort food and many choices to pick from with their extensive menu. We opted for the family dinner of 4. This is the best options that includes appetizers, various options of fish, beef, soup and dessert. The clay pot fish and lotus salad is so good. Service is quick and friendly. They have so many waiters ready to refill your water and take away empty plate. They keep an eye on your rice too in case you need more. Only complaint is the restroom. It needs to be clean daily and ensure no foul smell. Warning, you will lose your appetite if you use the restroom then return to the tables. Overall good dining options around Washington Ave. Food is ok and nothing fancy. Price is fair.“

“This is a great Vietnamese restaurant in Philly. I would recommend chicken knuckles to try. They have a large menu and most of it good. The drinks selection is also big to try from along with non alcoholic drinks. This is one place I saw sugarcane juice in Philly.“

“I love the food here. But i went there tonight around 730 and it was frigid outside. Just as we were sitting down to eat our food the worker decided to open the doors to carry all the outdoor furniture in then kept them open while he changed trash outside too. Not a care in the world for how freezing it was for his customers. It was extremely disappointing. We drive like 25 minutes to eat here. May be a while before we do that again.“
“We always come for the hoagie and coffee, grab and go. Don't be fooled by the lackluster neighborhood and surrounding area, Vinh Long Cafe is an amazing Vietnamese cafe and restaurant that is surely overlooked and underrated. It is a secret gem in South Philly. The Vietnamese iced coffee is made perfectly and the Vietnamese hoagie is unbelievably fresh and authentic. One reason it doesn't get the visits and accolades it deserves is probably due to its environment. Often the cafe seems to be filled with only local friends or family just hanging out. Sometimes the place is completely empty and they play traditional news or music. It doesn't seem too welcoming to those who don't speak the language, but don't be intimidated as this is just the traditional ways of the people there. Just walk up to the owner - who is always at counter - and ask for a Vietnamese hoagie and coffee. They make the hoagie on order right there in front of you. It's fresh and as authentic as it gets. Eat there or take it to go. It's worth the try.“

“This is one of the best place to get Hu Tieu Nam Vang (Phnom Penh Style Noodles). This place reminds me of the little noodle stall in SaiGon with the smell of stove cooking and warming foods in the back.
We tried the infamous dry noodles, egg rolls, and meatball soup. All came out super warm and delicious.
They also have a great variety of Banh Mi and Vermicelli Noodles dishes as well. Will definitely come back for more homestyle noodles dishes!“

“First time i went i ate in. Portions were more than enough for the price paid. I had got the pork chop rice platter. Nothing but flavor. Tried their take out option the next few times and it still did not miss. Food is great. Highly recommend. Good service…never packed in there. As alot of ppl order ahead. Also i get my egg fried hard that they put on the rice. Not a fan of the runny yolk.“
