“Where do I begin. Our visit to the Shannon Rose was outstanding. From the nice young lady at the door to our server Edgar who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. When we arrived Trivia was going on, and it was such a delight watching everyone participating in the game. We arrived wanting drinks to end the night, and The Shannon Rose did night disappoint. Our server Edgar was very kind, and very knowledgeable about what we should order, plus very handsome. Kudos to the bartender the drinks were delish!!!! We will DEFINITELY go back for the Trivia Tuesday and for dinner and drinks. What a fun way to end the evening. I hope that the next visit will be as enjoyable as the last one. “Food is always excellent. When ordering for delivery people taking the order are always extremely polite and helpful. Delivery always takes less time than expected. The delivery people are very polite also. Same wonderful experience whether we dine in or get take out. Would give 10 Stars !!!“
“What a wonderful place. It just happens to be an Irish bar, though that part is not the main sellling point. If you are not doing anything today or tonight, please, please, please go. OK, we know about prices. 8 Bottle Beers, 4 shots ( and yes 2 were telly) French onion soup, Fish & chips (no bread, that's a positive) and nacho with the malt vinegar. Grand total $109 == Bargain. The food was great!, The Nacho's were a meal servered the good way, hard nachos loaded with meat, cheese and Guac (wont' even attempt to spell that word). I don't know how Dave the owner pulls this off. Excellent business owner and personable. I think has all all 3 things going on when you spend money. Best Product, Best Price, Best Business touch - meaning personable skills. The girl working the bar and tables was very good. I should have gotten her name. She left nothing for chance. There is one other thing to note when going out, Atmosphere. While this is no Colemans of Syracuse on Tipperary Hill, I challenge you to point out the differences. “Asked the lady at the airport where the pilots eat… she sent us here. Wow it was great! Great menu, cozy environment, and quick service. All of our meals were cooked to perfection and the prices seemed reasonable. Just down the street from the airport, we’ll be back!“
“What a fantastic place for beer and burger. This is a nice local bar. It’s not a place where you want to take your little kids for late dinner where seats are mostly taken and many people standing around.Staff are very friendly and attentive, great beer selection, and delicious burger+onion rings.“
“I was looking for a decent restaurant for lunch while visiting relatives in the Montclair area. A friend from the area recommended Eagan's. Great recommendation! We had fried calamari, thick cut fries, chicken wings, bangers and mash and fish tacos. Everything was excellent. Our server was fantastic. I would go back again...and again.“
“Just ordered a steak sandwich and French dip. Never got the au jus sauce so my gf drove back to get it and the owner comped the whole bill wow that was just unbelievably nice over a simple sauce. Accidents happen but to get rid of the whole bill for two entrees I am 100% satisfied will be going back for sure. Food was amazing btw 5 stars“
“I always have a great time here, whether it's for drinks with friends, solo dinner or a date. The servers and bartenders are very friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Quality of food is very good. It's a little small, which never caused me any problems, but something to keep in mind on busier days. Someone here complained in a review that it's expensive for the amount of food that you get but you're paying for quality not quantity. Plus it's still cheaper than the overpriced restaurants in Rutherford, which seem to prefer status over service.“
“Cute place, fire place, nice bar with tvs. I wanted to try all the drinks on the drink menu so I will have to come back. Iced Peaky Blender was so good and was my favorite. Paloma is good. However looking forward to the Muddled Molly next time!!“
