“I have been going to bagelry since they opened . Highly recommend. There bagels are so fresh. There sandwichs all food excellent. The owners are wonderful. So kind generous caring. All the staff are wonderful. Its so enjoyabje there to eat in or out . They cater too. Because of the wonderful owners and staff it makes going there for food more enjoyable. Highly recommend. All bagels and food so fresh. The owners Anthony and Abe are so generous to people in the community as well and contribute bagels to churches for the hungry. Bagels are made fresh everyday. “I don’t have enough good things to say about this business. I called 5 Brothers from Wisconsin (not knowing anything about delis or restaurants in Lincoln Park, New Jersey—just going by google search) to order a couple trays of food for a memorial service in Lincoln Park which I could not attend. I am so happy my Google search led me to such a professional and helpful business. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. They even sent me photos and a video of the finished trays of goodies after they put them together. And then they delivered. Amazing. Top-notch customer service. I highly recommend this company for food delivery and catering. Good, good people.“

“Located on Millburn Avenue in Short Hills, New Jersey, Bagel Pantry offers breakfast sandwiches and approximately 15 types of bagels and a few other items. The plain bagel was fresh and the cream cheese very high quality. Take out is popular, while others take a break at the 8 or so small tables. The lighting is somewhat dreary, and the ceiling and walls perhaps worn, but the service was pleasant and the prices certainly reasonable.“

“We moved to Tennessee 8 years ago & long for good bagels which are hard to come by where we live. We found Howard’s Bagels while visiting for the birth of our second granddaughter. We explained, we were looking to take some good bagels back with us. The young lady(sorry I never asked your name) was so nice & accommodated us with a free sample of a pumpernickel bagel. We were over the moon & found heaven in a bagel! Fresh, tasty, delicious New Jersey bagels! We ordered 2 dozen to take home to Tennessee, which by the way you actually get 15 bagels for a dozen(must be some kind of new math, lol). Guessing the online bagels we’ve been getting will be on hold for quite a while, these bagel are worth the side trip if you are ever within 20 miles(for us 600 miles), do yourself a favor get some & the crumb cake they have is also delicious! “Nice deli, bagels were good they were able to make my sandwich just the way the like. The meat was piled on and the sandwich was filling. The bagel has the right consistency of crunchy and chewy with the flavor that you expect. It's hard to find good bagels where I currently reside(Pittsburgh) so it was a nice treat while visiting here.“

Honestly, I didn’t expect to find bagels this good outside the city, but these are the real deal — fresh, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. You can tell they’re made right and made often, because every bite tastes like it just came out of the oven.

But what really makes this place stand out is the people. The staff — and I’m pretty sure it’s family-run — are incredibly welcoming. They treat you like you’ve been coming there for years, even if it’s your first visit. There’s this genuine, neighborhood vibe that’s hard to fake. You can tell they actually care about what they’re doing, and they’re really good at it.

It’s one of those spots where you walk in for a bagel and leave in a better mood.
