“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“This hidden gem is by far the best sushi in… all of NJ and even competes on the same level as NY sushi. Always fresh and delicious. I especially love the special rolls that are topped with copious amounts of marinated tuna and salmon. The flavor is so good, idk how they do it. A must try for sushi lovers!“

“Popped in for a late lunch on New Year's Day and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! Firstly, don't judge the size of the venue because the menu is seven pages!! So many choices!! I had the most tasty, smooth and crunchy, sushi pizza!! I paired it with a healthy seaweed salad. My hubby enjoyed a tasty Miso Soup and Alaska Roll while listening to Abba's greatest hits in the background! What a fun venue! Cindy, our server was so friendly! A must visit when in the area!! Or drive from far away because it is worth it!!! And one more thing, very reasonably priced too!!!“

“I dined her the other night around 7 pm with a party of 7. Overall the food was excellent, service was acceptable, and the atmosphere felt comfortable. I was pleased to see the family photos in the entryway, as it gave the establishment a feeling of warmth and welcoming. The dinner menu is typical of what I’ve come to expect at any sushi restaurant, however I was surprised to see that they did not have any special roll combos as part of dinner. This did not take away from the quality of the food or the dining experience but just something that stuck out to me.“

“We stumbled upon Lins on a freezing day and it was so wonderful!!! They brought us hot tea and fresh hot and sour soup, SOOO GOOD! We had three combo meals (chicken & cashew, veggie, broccoli & garlic) with the pork fried rice and devoured it!! So delicious! We also had fried dumplings and scallion pancakes. Between the 4 of us it was only $20 each, and it was SO GOOD and so much food ! 10/10 highly recommend 🩷 and everyone is so sweet and friendly there!! :)“

“From what I shared last time (food being so delicious) very disspointed now. Had to throw everything in the garbage today - sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) did not smell fresh at all, looked very different. Ramen soup was disguisting. We used to love this place, truly loved. But last couple of times food seems not the same. Also Doordash took two hours to deliver instead of promised 45 min- have a feeling they were looking for fresh fish and could not find it - so result was obvious. “Didn't take a picture of the food but I should've. I got the chicken teriyaki ben5o box and the eel sashimi with mildly low expectations. Thing is, their portions were perfect for me, the chicken was cooked perfectly, not burnt or under cooked like other sushi restaurants, their plain rice you can tell was cooked with love. The mild sweetness plus a hint of rice wine. Not sure if that's really how they cooked it but daaaaamn. Oh and the onions? Not charred, not severely undercooked, it was damn near amazing. Their miso is pretty great, personally would have preferred a bit more tofu but that's just a me thing. Their salad was also properly portioned and to be honest I came in thinking they'd be busy but I'm glad I came when it was pretty quiet. The service was quick and the staff was great. Next time I will probably order more though ?. Give this place a shot and dine in. It's amazing“

“This was my first time visiting Dozo Sushi and the hostess noticed my order and asked if I was vegetarian. After confirming I was, she let me know she would have the team replace my one roll as the sauce contained oysters. I didn't know about the sauce, and would have never known if she hadn't asked, so I was impressed about the extra level of care. They quickly remade my roll and had me out the door with my tasty, customized, rolls. Excellent customer service and food! Thank you.“

“I get poke here after all my afternoon hikes and it’s definitely one of the best in NJ. Ingredients taste fresh and the portions are fair and filling. Theres so many different combinations. You get up to 2 protein, 5 topping, 3 crunchy toppings, and 2 sauce. Everying else is a bit extra. Really yummy and I’ll continue to eat here“

“Best Chinese & Japanese I’ve had, from their green tea with toasted brown rice to their soups, their general Tso is always a good balance of spice to sweet, very accommodating with gluten allergy for my partner. They are always nice and we tend to catch going once a week at this point, very good every time“
