“This cute little local favorite was a delight. I got stuck here in Ford, NY due to a break down with my truck so I decided to try the local cafe! I loved it, food was good and fulfilling while I listened to the local chatter from the patrons! The service was awesome and even the cook came by to say "hi"! “I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. When it was time to pay the check, I noticed their new pay system had already added a 15% tip to the bill. I think tipping should ALWAYS be the discretion of the patron. Because my server was great, I didn't have a problem paying the 15%. I wonder if her tip is shared. FYI, you can change the tip amount at the register, but ya'll need to pay attention.Food at this diner is always yummy. The staff is great and at my visit they were on top of everything. Looking from the outside, this diner has a very nostalgic feel to it.The cook greeted us when we walked in and took our orders immediately. “Nothing fancy here. Just good Greek diner food. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. The service is friendly and prompt. Wonderful pancakes with good crispy bacon. Home fries and pea soup are especially very good. Everything is made fresh each day - potatoes are peeled in the kitchen for mashed and the vegetables and meats are all prepared daily in their kitchen. The diner is family owned and the family is always there. It's a Summit staple and hopefully will continue to stay for many more years. And, oh yes, you can purchase liter bottles of imported Greek olive oil made by the owner's brother back in Greece. I only buy my virgin oil there. Two bottles at a time. You can return to refill your bottle (s) as needed.“
