“SUGARED prepared the most delicious and beautiful dessert table for my daughter’s holy communion. We had a custom cake, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and mini cheesecakes. I was asked all night where everything was from and received compliments on how delicious everything was. I have never thrown a party where every last piece of cake was eaten and this was the event it happened for! Sha was amazing to work with when designing my vision and knocked it out of the park!!!”

“Not kidding. Our table of 4 ordered nearly everything in the menu. Each bite was delicious, balanced, nuanced, worldly, fresh, and inventive. We ordered a second dish of the carrots, and also the cukes. Dessert was outstanding. Interesting wines, including a chilled Croatian wine that paired well with every dish. Definitely returning. Soon! ❤️”

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.”

He loves the Troubadour and the Carrine’s Fave. They have excellent options for me as a vegetarian, too. The migas…chefs kiss! And we love the brrrchata.

But the real thing that makes them taste like home is the green jalepeno sauce. It’s impossible to find. But they make it perfectly!!”

A participant asked about cacio e pepe, which was not on the agenda, and Olivia quickly prepared the basic but difficult to nail sauce. It was spot on. Would def recommend HBB to friends and family. One suggestion though - supplying guests with aprons would be helpful!”
