“The decor at Victors Cafe was absolutely stunning! I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and classy it felt, with a wonderful tropical vibe. Our waiter was truly phenomenal, constantly checking in on us and being incredibly attentive. And the food and desserts were simply amazing. “I absolutely love Rumba Cubana! This location is perfect also. The restaurant is situated next to a park in the downtown area of Jersey City. The staff are kind and professional, great service. I’ve dined in/outside and ordered delivery once. Ordering delivery was definitely a huge disappointment. I ordered the Tropical Salad with grilled Salmon but the piece of salmon was so tiny. Dining in, they are usually generous with the proteins added. I feel like this was a very upsetting experience. Overall, it’s definitely my go-to place. The Papa Rellenas are delicious, the frozen lemonade is a must and you cannot leave without ordering some of the guava and cheese empanadas!“

“What a gem. This cozy restaurant has everything I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly and polite. The space is comfortable - not too fancy and not too casual. Most importantly- the FOOD. The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. Easily, I offer 5 stars.“

“Incredible food, and great service. Our server, Jay, gave great recommendations (and even a little history of the restaurants roots) and everything was perfectly timed. The food was amazing, and the presentation was on point. We started with the beef empanadas, which are a must try. For our mains, we went with the skirt steak and short ribs, which were both phenomenal. 10/10, you can’t go wrong with this place.“

“We hired Casa Cubana to cater my Goddaughters Sweet 16th last month. No hassle putting together a great menu for a very large family / friends' event. With constant changes on my end, the staff was always a phone call away, very courteous offering excellent advice to ensure the perfect feast. Oh and the food was amazing.“

“My first time coming here and I must say, the food and service I was given was impeccable. Dining outside was rather comfortable despite the cold weather and the waiters I had were amazing. Being outside the atmosphere was rather simple so I'm unsure about indoor but it seemed cozy when I went to the restroom. I highly recommend people to check it out for dinner the most!

“I want to give Havana Central 5 stars, but 2 things hold it back! Let's start with the good. The atmosphere is really good. It's close quarters but it's fine. The food is excellent! We started with empanadas and chicken and shrimp were our favorite. For meals we got the Churrasco A La Parilla, the Arroz Con Camarones, and the Vaca Frita. All of our food was really good and perfectly cooked. The Arroz only has 6, maybe 7 shrimp, so if you're really hungry go with something different. The rice and beans are top notch! Now for the 2 things keeping it from 5 stars, the live music and service (which is not the servers fault). The live music is loud, very loud. You can't have a conversation if that's what you do at dinner. I know it's part of the atmosphere, but it can be brought down a few notches to at least be able to talk. Service is slow because servers are over sat. They have way too many tables for each of them and food arriving also take a minute. Both of these are easily fixable in my opinion to make this a great place all around! We will come back and not let it stop us.“

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“This used to be one of my favorite spots to go to. I went a week ago, and the food was completely different and insanely overpriced. I ordered almost as soon as I came in and a couple that sat down 20 minutes after I did got their food ate it paid the check and left when my food was just arriving and I waited for over 20 minutes for one drink. The food is nothing like it used to be at all. $100 for two drinks and one meal is insane.“
