“If you love great food and drink and friendly atmosphere this is you're place. I travel 28 miles to come here. It's my home sweet home. I don't go anywhere else from the comfortable seating and the nicely cooled lounge and a place outside if you're a smoker. Wide assortment of coffees and teas and adults beverages. Come on down they are open everyday except Tuesday THE FOOD IS SUPERB.....“

“Vale’s Kafe & Kitchen is a hidden gem in Union City. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, like you’re visiting a friend. The service is professional and attentive. The food … oh so good! Clean and flavorful. The portions are just right, not outrageous. The coffee is also very good. The only setback I see is the entrance is not
accessible. I would suggest a ramp for those customers that have difficulty walking up/down steps. Also hours could be extended, say to include dinner on the weekend (Fri/Sat). Otherwise a must see.“

“Wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Comfy seating with nooks to plug in and work. Locally authored books in the shelves. The chai has a perfect balance of herbs and spices and is not too sweet. Also had an amazing empanada and a freshly baked-on-premises cookie. Love the local focus of this cafe. Will come back again to try the fresh leaf teas and the other empanadas.“

“Had a book club meet up with my friends and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. The music was nice but not too loud. The drinks were great, I ordered the milo latter with coffee and was delicious. I want to go back to try the coquito latte! I also had a arepa de yuca with cheese on top it was so good! The staff is awesome! Definitely coming back!“

“I visit Sweet Jeans more than once per day when I am working - it really is the BEST cafe I've ever been to. Every single staff member is welcoming, friendly, and treats you like family from your very first visit. The coffee, sandwiches and pastries are literally incredible.

“Toast & Bowl is a hidden gem! The Bulgogi Rice is packed with flavor — tender, perfectly marinated beef over warm rice that’s both comforting and satisfying. The Popcorn Chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right — seriously addictive. “What a great place! Passed by here once and our daughter’s name is Madison so I thought it would be fun to try out. Made a reservation for Mother’s Day, probably not the best day to try a new place. We showed up for our 12:15 reservations and despite the mob scene outside, our table was waiting. The food and service were spectacular on a busy day. I can’t wait to come back on a normal day. I had the cauliflower tacos. Amazing, as good as they look in the picture. Wife and daughter had omelettes with salad and potatoes. Neither could finish! Not sure if I can post photos“

“dirty place....the chef uses his bare hands to prepare and cook meals then denied multiple customers for food requests like 8pm like 🤦♀️..... they never clean while cooking or preparing instead they wait to clean up at 8pm ....gross only meal I was able to eat was a kibob salad because there meat is disgusting 😑“

“We booked this for Valentine's Day evening. We are visiting from the northeast. We had the prefix menu and everything they served us was exquisite. Service was impeccable and it was very romantic. It's not in the very best of neighborhoods, but the building itself is stunningly gorgeous, and the interior even more so.“

“New to the neighborhood, was looking for a coffee spot near by and i think i found it. The atmosphere made me feel like i was on my vacation in a local shop in PR. The ladies were so kind and friendly! Told her i didn’t want the coquito coffee too sweet and she delivered! The empanadas were good but the hot sauce even better, Definitely coming back !“
