“My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“My sister and her boyfriend introduce me to this fast food restaurant and I have to say I love it ! Though they don’t have many options other than burgers or tenders I think you get what the name of the restaurant provides lol. They do have some sides such as Mac and cheese, coleslaw, seasoned fries/cheese fries, pickles and milkshakes. I tried the Mac and cheese and honestly it lacked that cheesiness you look forward to when eating mac & cheese but aside from that the food is delicious. I usually get the medium level of spice and the one slider (comes with pickles, coleslaw, and signature sauce however you can ask to subtract or put things on the side) seasoned fries and drink meal which is always perfect as the chicken is pretty big. In my opinion medium it’s not very hot so if you have a good tolerance to spicy food I would try maybe a level above that which is “hot”. I’m super excited that they are opening one in my town because I will definitely be coming back ! Definitely recommend.“

“We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. It came with a large serving of Coleslaw for my 20 pcs wing order. Crispy and saucy but doesn’t feel greasy. We will definitely be coming back whenever we want KFC!“

I see why the number of wings changed, it was originally 3 whole wings but has changed to 6 wings that are drum and flats. Both came with fries, they seem handcut but not really crispy. Still pretty good.Reading over the reviews I went with extra hot on both orders, it's got a good kick but not unbearable. I would say if you order two things, get it done hot one way and extra hot the other. The sandwich was as expected, fantastic with the jerry's sauce and massive. The wings have a nice texture and would seem to be a bit on the saltier side. I'm ok with that but I think the order would be perfect if they gave a side of the jerry's sauce to dunk the wings with.Parking is across the street and there is no place to eat there, it's pretty much a takeout only spot. The chicken was cooked very well I rate it up there better than Popeyes and way better than KFC. “My mother and I visit Max's Restaurant every now and then when she wants to eat Kare Kare. It's not usually busy when we visit, and we normally know what we'll order by the time we sit down, usually Kare Kare, sinigang na baboy, rice, and maybe an additional dish for variety. It's never too loud when we dine in but there's occasionally a large party dining while we're here. I think Max's is a spot that we'll always continue to visit. The reason for my four stars as opposed to five is because I finished my cup of water a while ago and they haven't refilled it yet. I think that attention to detail is small but important.“

“The closest thing to Nashville Hot Chicken that I’ve had outside of Nashville. I ordered 3 “hot” tenders and mac & cheese. I could only finish 2 tenders — they’re huge! I was pleasantly surprised with the mac & cheese as a lot of places make it pretty bland, but this one was decent. For me, the “hot” was pretty spicy and any spicier would be too much for me. I will say that the breading on the tenders is a *tad* thick. I think if they coat the chicken a bit thinner, it would be better. Still enjoyed it though and will be back for sure.“

“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. “This is one of the eateries I visit when in town. Although I don’t live in Paterson anymore Paterson hands down has some of the best food. The food here is always worth it, I always have leftovers.Pros: Reasonable pricing, large portion sizes and the food is consistently delicious.Cons: Parking is crappy, it’s meter parking and all the parking spots are always taken.Parking: Don’t double park it’s dangerous because cars like to fly down the street and officers are out to give tickets.“
