Needless to say, this was our “W.” We drove 45 minutes from North Brunswick and it was so worth it, we were truly satisfied. For appetizer we got; scallops butter yaki, chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, clear soup, miso soup, seaweed salad, and mango prawn salad. We ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls; blue crab fantastic, tropical, jersey, and rainbow dragon. For dessert we got bubble tea which was on the house 😊 we will definitely be back to eat here again! The only negative thing I have to say is that the place was very small inside and not many seats available for dine in as most of their business appears to be take out, but the food and service were so good that it cancels that out. Can’t wait to eat here again!“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Translated from Japanese, meaning “looks beautifully flavored,” my partner and I decided to stop for a quick bite at this establishment situated on a busy Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights.

Upon entering this clean and relaxed vibe as first-timers to Oishi Sushi, we had the entire place to ourselves and decided on a table by the window. They also have a small stool area in front of the sushi chefs.

Their extensive menu comprises a range of sushi rolls, sashimi, and bento boxes.

We opted for the Seaweed Salad, Avocado Roll, and Vegetable Lover Roll.

Food was excellent, presented well, and using the freshest quality ingredients. The Seaweed Salad was a tad salty; otherwise, everything tasted deliciously good. The price and portions were reasonable. The service was quick; the staff was friendly and courteous.

“By far one of the best Korean Japanese restaurants. I’ve been ordering from Sea Shai since 2021/22 & the consistency of the food and customer service is always amazing! The flavor of the food is spectacular. I travel to Sea Shai to pick up my order because it is several neighborhoods away, totally worth the drive. The food is priced fairly for the portion and flavors you are receiving. Highly recommend trying this restaurant out. I cannot get enough of the Bulgogi with white rice platter, A M A Z I N G!

“My experience at Morgan Steakhouse was nothing short of amazing.

From the moment you walk in, the restaurant is absolutely elegant with a beautiful Western-style feel. The menu truly has something for everyone from steaks, incredible surf-and-turf pizza, fresh sushi, and a steakhouse burger that is beyond delicious.

Sherry is an absolute doll, so sweet, welcoming, and passionate. She shared the history and vision behind Morgan’s, inspired by her extensive experience in the industry, and it truly shows in every detail. You can genuinely feel the heart behind it all.

The staff is professional, attentive, and they truly care about the guest experience. Our waiter, Gerardo, was outstanding!

This was my first time dining at Morgan’s, and I already know exactly what I’ll be trying next time😉

Bonus: Morgan Steakhouse is BYOB, so bring your favorite bottle!

“This is a great local sushi restaurant in Little Falls. The quality is excellent, very fresh, with nice presentation. Tropical Mango and Volcano are two of my favorites, along with the Yellowtail Jalapeno roll which is simple but very satisfying.

Staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself if very cute and cozy though I haven't had the privilege to dine in yet - but I am looking forward to that!“

Pete, who is both the sushi chef and the owner, was excellent. We struck up a genuinely good conversation while I was eating, and he was friendly, complimentary, and clearly takes pride in what he does. One small but really impressive detail stood out: Pete noticed I like a little wasabi with my tuna and offered me fresh wasabi without me even asking. For a sushi spot of this size, having fresh wasabi on hand is always impressive — it’s a great little treat, and usually something you only get if you know to ask. That kind of attentiveness says a lot.

The quality of the fish here is excellent. My favorite bite of the night was the salmon belly — rich, buttery, and delicious. The sushi here is definitely geared toward a more classic and approachable palate. It’s simple, clean, and done well, and the quality of the fish and service really shine.
