“This place has both Korean BBQ grill and traditional Korean dishes. Actually it has a surprisingly wide selection of traditional Korean dishes despite the name. Interior is nicer than most others. “Fantastic food and service. This is exactly like the food I enjoyed at similar Chinese lamb skewer restaurants in Korea. I went in expecting to have to use Korean because a few reviews said no one speaks English, but instead I encountered non Korean servers and had to use English. They also spoke Spanish. There are menus available in Chinese, Korean, and English. You can get served here regardless of language. I highly recommend if you want something different from typical Korean barbecue. It’s also BYOB.“

The potato jeon is a modern take on a classic and will definitely be a favorite for anyone wanting to ease into trying Korean food for the first time. The vegetable bibimbap was also great, my only feedback on this was that the banchan came with a pork soup and I am Muslim. In the future, they might want to ask and offer an alternative soup or broth that is vegetarian to pair with the vegetable bibimbap. All together this was truly food that rivals the expensive Korean restaurants of New York. The more reasonable price point doesn't take from the quality of the food whatsoever. It feels very much like the recipes worked on with close attention and the environment reflects it as well. I'd recommend this place for a first date, a special occasion, or to eat a meal that fills your stomach and mind. I found myself excited to try banchan I'd normally overlooked like acorn jelly. “Another Google review visit and it was not too bad. Being from Texas, the bar is pretty high for BBQ.

The server recommended the sample platter that came with three meets and 2 sides. Got brisket, sausage, and baby back ribs. Brisket was pretty good, and the ribs had a little.smoke.ring on them. The sausage, on the other hand, was loaded with fennel seeds. Ate 1 piece, and that was all I could stomach. The garlic mashed potatoes were really flavorful. The sweet corn I couldn't get enough of, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Price was comparable to the portion sizes. However, when I got my check, I was charged a convenience fee of $.91. I should have asked why, but I was so put out about it that I did t ask what it was for.

Lots of tv's for viewing, but most of them were tuned I tp the Yankees game. Bar was full of coaches who knew better how to play the game. Fun to watch and hear them talk.

For our entree I shared a bbq platter with beef ribs, pork ribs, chicken, chorizo. Everything was incredibly tasty and delicious with just the right amount of salt! For sides we also shared French fries and yellow rice with black beans“

“Not to say every time I visit Carlitos everyone is so welcoming and sweet their fish tacos are the star of the menu. I’m a very picky eater and yesterday I happen to request something special and that’s never been requested. I ordered fish with everything that goes on top of the taco except the tortilla with their spicy mayo sauce on the side it’s something different that’s not in the menu (not my first time doing special request that aren’t in the menu). So anytime you need to make any adjustments or special request let them know. Thank you to everyone at Carlitos for always making my experience with them so great and special!!“
