“I BBQ and smoke meats at home but don't always feel like doing a 12hr brisket cook. Saw this place nearby and figured to give it a try. The Korean fixings on top of traditional BBQ went great. Got the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Corn bread was really good too.Was expecting to order takeout but ended up sitting inside. They but had a decent amount of tables. It also had table service which was unexpected. Service was excellent and really appreciated the conversation and genuine help. Definitely will be going back.“

“I had a family gathering in Kkotsongi and visited this place after being recommended by an acquaintance. The taste of the charcoal-grilled ribs was great. More than anything. Make sure the manager is attentive and provides side dishes to even the children. Just cover the plate. When eating cold noodles. Go back with new chopsticks. Palisades Park location is my favorite because their soups are perfectly delicious and flavorful and it has just the right amount of spice that is appropriate for each level. The Bibimbop and Galbi tang are also tasty non-tofu options. Their appetizers are also really good especially the seafood pancake and corn cheese which are my favorites! The ambience feels like home with a cozy atmosphere, and the service at this location is always excellent! Palisades Park location never disappoints out of all of the locations in NJ!“

“Just land at Newark and stumbled across this restaurant. The staff quickly seated all 10 of us. They first served the complimentary tofu, kimchi, pickled veggies. I had the dumpling soup, which was spot on because I was feeling a little under the weather. Others had the spicy beef soup, short ribs soup, bibimbop, and fish. The food is so good!! We were surprised to get such good food for such a reasonable price. The only slightly negative is the we asked for separate checks but instead the split the bill evenly into 2 checks. When we explained the 2 people were on one order, they quickly fixed the mistake.“

I've been to a couple of BBQ joints in Texas and this place was pretty top notch right up there with them. The brisket was spot on, I prefer mine to be a bit leaner cut and this place this delivered on that! The sauce was more of a North Carolina style, thin and sweet with a bit of vinegar undertone. The rest of the table really enjoyed their orders, the chicken cheesesteak looked substantial. The sides are almost a show-stealer, not to take away from the meats but man are they good. Skip the fries or tater-tots (you can get that stuff anywhere) and go for the more exciting options like duck-fat infused mashed potatoes or the beer-cheese mac. Nice beer and wine selection, canned offerings from local breweries. I *think* there was a dessert menu, but I was way too full to consider it.“
