“If you haven't been to Q Grill in Fort Lee yet, you are seriously missing out. We had an great meal, but a few dishes absolutely stole the show.
The experience started off strong because the banchan was incredibly plentiful, giving us so many great sides to taste. A huge standout was the kimchi, it tasted so fresh yet beautifully and well-fermented, hitting that perfect balance of crunch and tang. For the main event, we opted for the Trinity Wagyu combination, and it was spectacular. The beef was incredibly velvety, rich, and luxurious. To call it tender is an understatement—every single bite practically melted in my mouth, packed with that premium, juicy flavor you only get from high-quality Wagyu cuts.
The JapChae was executed perfectly with that ideal, bouncy chew and a beautifully balanced, savory-sweet sesame soy sauce. We also ordered the spicy rice cakes with cheese, which were the ultimate comfort food—perfectly chewy with just the right amount of kick, smothered in melted, gooey cheese.
Between the generous sides, the cheese-pulled rice cakes, and the top-tier meats from the Trinity combo, Q Grill is officially a favorite. Can't wait to come back!“

“Visited New Jersey for the weekend, and this was one of the top restaurant recommendations from locals. It absolutely lived up to the hype.

Everything we ordered was delicious, but one of my favorites—unfortunately I forgot to take a picture—was the mixed vegetables. They tasted incredibly fresh with a subtle balance of sweetness and tangy citrus. It was the perfect palate cleanser and made me want to keep eating more skewers 😆

“This place is outstanding. First time there as I saw some IG videos of this place. The location is at Saddle Brook Mall (at least that's what I call it). Plenty of parking. It was clean outside and inside. The atmosphere was modern with plenty of 4 seating at a table for the room it had. It did not have Dominican souvenirs all over. Now the food. We ordered Chofan with churrassco and Maduro. Also, I ordered 1/2 baby back ribs and chicharron pork bellies. They were out of this world. The bone fell off that no meat was left on the bone. OMG it was so delicious. The chosen was so much, it was more served for 2 people. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for and more. Would definitely recommend.“

“I recently discovered this restaurant through a friend, and it has quickly become my favorite Korean BBQ spot.

The pork belly and fresh duck BBQ are simply the best I've ever had. The pork belly is served with four different sauces, each adding its own unique flavor, while the fresh duck is incredibly tender and delicious.

One of the highlights is the fried rice prepared at the end of the meal. A left-handed staff member with a topknot hairstyle works magic with a pair of scissors, cutting up the remaining pork belly and expertly stir-frying it with kimchi, seaweed, and rice right on the grill. It's the best Korean BBQ fried rice I've had in Palisades Park.

What makes the experience even better is the warm hospitality. The owner always greets guests with a big smile, and the entire staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

This is my favorite place for pork belly and duck BBQ, and it has become a small weekly tradition for me after a round of golf. Highly recommended!“

“I’m a snobby ktown LA born Korean American who lived in Korea. I talk crap about most Korean places because they’re just not as good as the west coast but this is by far the absolute best Korean bbq place in all of NJ/NY. Hands down. Super OG place that does actual charcoal grills you literally feel like you’re transported back to the 90’s getting fed Korean bbq at the only spot your parents went to. The place that you went for every graduation, special occasion and celebration. It really doesn’t get better than this.“

“It's such a futuristic way of getting your Korean fried chicken. So simplistic so to the point crunch is phenomenal, And even though it's made to order it's still fast! It reminds me of those individual food dining cubbies/booths for people who like minimal contact/interactions during dining that I've tried in Japan before. A lot of the items that I wanted were sold out but the experience was so well that I will go back again in hopes to get those items ☺️

“Overall, we had a very good dining experience. The food was delicious, especially the steak — it was flavorful, cooked very well, and the portion size was generous and very satisfying. The chicken was also very good. The butter served with the bread was absolutely delicious and a great touch. The asparagus served with the steak was also very well prepared and complemented the dish nicely.

The only disappointment was the potato; I felt it could have been more flavorful and better prepared.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the restroom. It was very dirty, and someone had clearly vomited in the sink area, but it had not been cleaned. For a restaurant of this quality, this was not acceptable and did not match the overall experience. I hope more attention can be given to hygiene and cleanliness.

We also called ahead to make a reservation, but we were told that due to the restaurant being full, we needed to come in person and put our name on the waiting list. We did that, but we ended up waiting more than 40 minutes before being seated. I understand that busy times happen, but the waiting process could be managed in a more organized way.

The food quality was great, but I believe there are areas where the restaurant can improve, especially regarding cleanliness and guest experience. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration.“

“As food and travel enthusiasts, we’ve had Korean BBQ all over the world, and Cast Iron Pot delivers a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, the atmosphere is lively, and the service truly stands out. The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived, frequently checking in, changing the grill when needed, and making sure we always had everything we needed.

The only reason for the 4-star rating is the quality of the meat. While the selection is generous, we were expecting more premium cuts with better marbling and tenderness. “Went there for lunch so was not too busy. Food (kalbi) was excellent. Meat was extremely tender and their side dishes were tasty and plentiful. Their selection of food was good and was impressed by the selection of aged meats they had. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Parking is easy in their lot and price is comparable to other KBBQ restaurants. Only negative is their bathroom which appear very outdated.“

“Always our go-to place in Paramus. We have yet to do their bbq but plan to soon. All their à la carte dishes we’ve tried is good/legit. Recently ordered their mul naengmyun (cold buckwheat noodles) - this was so good, chewy noodles. We also ordered the galbi dolsot bibimbap which came out on a big sizzling pan with a good amt of veggies, galbi and rice that was crisping on the bottom. And the duk mandu guk (dumpling soup with rice cakes) - also 😋. Banchans were fresh. Service is different depending on who you get 😆, but even just the food is worth going for.“

“We were driving from Baltimore to Richmond and specifically stopped to check out Honey Pig's new location. Wow what a great restaurant! Smells amazing when you walk in the door and the servers are beyond professional, friendly, and helpful. We ordered the bibimbap because we weren't quite hungry enough for AYCE. The BBQ at the table around us looked great though and next time would have planned to be hungrier for AYCE. Great food with good size portions. Wish we lived closer so we could go again and again but we will look forward to the next time we are nearby!“

“Come here for an authentic Korean bbq experience.

This place has been a staple in Palisades for apparently 31 years, I’ve been here many times for the last 10 years, finally al getting around to writing a review.

If you’re new to kbbq, simply get their bbq combo, and that’ll be a good intro to the experience. If you’re more experienced and know what meat you like and accompanying dishes then go à la carte. They cook the meat for you and it the meat cooks relatively fast so be prepared to eat so the meat is not overcooked sitting on the grill.

Service and experience is similar to what you would get if you visited Korea. All right good spot, balanced, no fuss, and good selection of dishes to make the bbq complete.“

“I have to say, some of the reviews on this establishment is bordering on satire. Recently went here and found the food to be fantastic! The mango chicken was absolutely delicious as was the bourbon chicken and the spicy chicken. Do yourself a favor and actually look at the complaints about this place before you make a decision. I’ll cut you a break and give you an example or two about the complaints. One complaint was about the use of paper bag oppose to plastic bags and another was the color of the food, the color! I mean I understand complaints about the quality of the food but when the complaints have nothing to do with the quality then I can’t and won’t take it seriously. People seriously need to stop crying and complaining about the silliest of things. Enjoy this place, I know me and my wife did!“

“I frequently order from The BBQ location in Palisades Park after my morning gym session. There are many choices for good Korean style fried chicken but i find BBQ’s to have the perfect blend of crispy/flaky on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. My personal favorite chicken place-ordering online 20 min before my gym session ends ensures a ready to go pick up with no wait time. Easy and convenient.“
