“After dropping off our daughter at school this morning the wife wanted to stop at a nice place for a quick bite that didn't have that quick bite feeling, we landed on the Main Street gem known as Cafe Vista. This cozy, delightfully sunny, positive energy vibe Cafe offers all day dining items, made to order, a very innovative beverage selection, sultry and sweet dessert delights and a classy/ calm music selection while you dine. I strongly recommend the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich on an Everything Bagel. Warm fluffy eggs , melted cheddar made with honey ham chunks overflowing on a toasted bagel. Also the mushroom spinach and mozzerella omelet paired with a delightful morning salad medley. For dessert we had the rasberry brownie and a cheese blueberry Danish. For beverages in old school (coffee light and sweet) which came in a elegantly styled oversized mug and the wife had the BLUE LAVENDER MATCHA TEA (highly recommended by us both). The presentation, flavor and overall vibe of our visit turned our quick bite into an over hour stay. We were very pleased and humbled to be served and attended to by Cafe Vista OWNER Balsayat, thank you for making our breakfast special this morning, it was great chatting with you, lovely tranquil, and serene establishment you have here.“

“Love, Love, LOVE this breakfast spot. I order from here regularly. The food is always fast, fresh and budget friendly. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

During my lunch hour, I placed an order over the phone and spoke with Emily who was attentive, accommodating and was able to get my custom order perfect. Upon picking up, ammon greeted me quickly and confirmed my order right away. The vegetarian sandwich was amazing and Emily suggested I add the roasted peppers in lieu of the cromini mushrooms. This breakfast & brunch chain restaurant recently opened within the complex of the Bergen Town Center mall. It is not located inside the mall, but in the lower level parking lot next to Home Goods.

I knew this location was going to be on the money because there was an hour wait when my girlfriend and I checked in.

To entertain yourself while you wait, window in the surrounding stores until you receive a text message alerting you that your table is ready.

When we were seated, I was impressed already. The chairs are comfortable and they automatically provided all three utensils; most places only provide a fork and knife and I always have to request a spoon.

These are a couple of the menu items I explored:

Coffee:
I usually never order coffee whenever I dine out because I am not a fan of milk or half & half. First Watch provides vanilla and hazelnut coffee creamers.

As a bonus, the coffee is served in a refillable carafe ( similar to IHOP); if it is empty, the server will gladly refill it.

Double Bacon Parmesan Hash:
This was a unique, but phenomenal breakfast plate. I knew this signature item was going to be a winner when I saw the sidewalk billboard poster.

It was topped with a vegetable medley, over easy eggs, bacon and smothered in Alfredo sauce. The plate was very filling and I didn’t feel bloated afterwards.

If you decide to dine here, I highly recommend arriving in the morning or early afternoon because they close every day at 2:30 PM.

“I usually skip the breakfast, but today had to wake up early ish 4am so around 10.30 of course we got hungry… we been in the area and first time we try this place! Coffee really really good! The florentine omelet comes with toast and potato was amazing! Lots of spinach and feta. They made our day with this breakfast! Service fast and friendly! Price great! Meal is huge! “Nice local option.I'm not even sure of the name of this place as I believe ownership might have changed at some point or two. On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently.
