“Really a great and very unique restaurant. First of all, the bread is more than great and completely different from any other bread in the United States. In the restaurant, you feel as if you are in Egypt or any other Arab country. You can have breakfast with beans, falafel, hummus, liver, and heart, just like you would eat in any popular restaurant in Egypt. For lunch, you can also eat Mandi and various delicious meats. The prices are reasonable, and the area where the restaurant is located is very lively 🌸🌸“

“Stopped in for lunch during a conference nearby. The falafel appetizer was filling, tasty, and with just a bit of heat. And the proprieter was delightfully friendly, throwing in a bit of hummus and a pita. A dessert of baklava was sweet without being sickly or cloying or too wet. And the price with a soft drink was less than $12, which is a real bargain. I'll be back again if I'm in the area.“

“One of the best middle eastern restaurants in metro NYC. we came with a part of five and ordered up a large sample of dishes. Everything we tried was one better than the next. Super tasty humus, light, fresh and lemony. I had a stuffed chicken over rice, which was to die for. We tried the mixed grill, shawarma, Middle East platter and several salads.
Very reasonable prices. Simple brightly lit space with a lovely staff.“

All of the food is spectacular, but the chicken shawarma, baba ganouj, muhamarra, basil hummus and stuffed grape leaves are truly something special in my opinion. They make everything fresh and the flavors are incredible. Whenever I'm in Irvington my friends and family request that I pick up extra. We have also ordered catering for multiple Christmas parties and the platters are always LICKED CLEAN! We order chicken shawarma over rice, hummus platter, stuffed grape leaves, and mediterranean salad platter and our guests absolutely rave about the food. Would recommend a million times over.“

“I went and ordered the Fahsa with lamb and the Salta about a month ago. It comes with a nice amount of bread to eat it with too.
It was wonderful and I highly recommend this place. Still remember how lovely it was so I decided to write a review. I feel like that is a good testament to how nice it was.

I haven’t had chicken over rice in a while due to bad experiences, so after some time I decided to give it a try and I risked it by Uber Eats with this place & omfg.. the rice is great, they added a generous amount of red & white sauce, the chicken was greatly cooked , my favorite part had to be the diced cucumbers along with the diced vegetables . The pita bread I ordered on the side was soft . I literally almost struggled eating the entire thing , I went to sleep super full. So they are definitely generous with their portions as well. I’m definitely ordering their chicken over rice again !! Sooo soo good 🤤. Please don’t change !! Btw if you’re planning to order from Uber Eats , I got the chicken over rice, pita bread and a beverage all came down to $28.49 !!“
