“The request was find the best pizza near our hotel. After comparing some reviews we headed to Urban Tomato. It’s in a neighborhood setting across from a church. The restaurant decor is simple but comfortable with a great hosts. We never felt cramped. The boys enjoyed a chicken pizza half garlic and half bbq drizzle and my wife and I enjoyed a fungi white pizza that was out of this world. I continue to say this, if g-d had given Jersey the water, their pizza would be king.“

I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. Prices for slices are overpriced but prices for pies are very fair. Being open late is a huge plus in this area. “My daughter and I came here on our way back home from American dream and we are so glad we did. The alfredo pasta with chicken was superb! Much better than I’ve had at other spots for 50% higher prices.

We also got the pizza with the three different sauces (marinara, pesto, and something else) and the pasta filled me up so we got it to go and had it the next day. I don’t know if the pizza tastes better when reheated the next day, or if it normally tastes like that, but the pizza was excellent. Not too thick, not too thin, just right! “This restaurant is a self serve, me and my kids always love this Italian restaurant, every time we go to Bergen Town center and in a mood for Italian food this place is out go to, it's been here since they opened this outlet store and the taste of their food is consistent, its price is reasonable and they taste fresh, the server is nice and they are fast and efficient, inside they have enough table and sitting area to enjoy the food they also have a bathroom for customers, considering it's a fast food style this Italian food is one of the best in this area and I recommend for everyone that goes in Bergen town to give it a try.“

“Tried Mario’s Pizza & Pasta in Saddle Brook for the first time and I’ll definitely be coming back! The food was outstanding, the staff went above and beyond, and the menu has so many options that I can’t wait to explore more.

The chicken cutlet wrap and lomo steak sandwich were absolutely incredible - highly recommend both. And whatever you do, don’t forget to ask for the green sauce, it takes everything to another level!

Before we even got into his specific allergies, she wiped down the prep area, changed her gloves and showed us their allergy binder. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off.
